  • geweldig! hoe heb je dat gedaan man! echt super!

  • @Edwallet Dank je! Viel wel mee hoor. Was binnen een dag gedaan!

  • Very good job! How connected E-MU 0404 with ipad 2?

  • @karekla23 You can connect Audio Interface to iPad via the Apple Camera Connection Kit. Just google that and you can find a link

You can find more info on iOS Musician. Just use this google string: "Connect Audio Interface to iPad Via Camera Connection Kit IOS MUSICIAN" and click the first link you see

  • @JazzInc I think that the guy is not using the E-mu 0404. Do I need anything else except the camera connection kit and a hub?Thank you very much for your response!

  • @karekla23 Actually, you can forget the EMU if you have that Apple camera connection kit and a decent USB condenser mic, like the Blue Yeti USB. You can plug that straight into the Camera Connection Kit and record high quality vocals on your iPad.

If you want to use your EMU, use the camera connection kit and an iMic USB to audio adapter. Just plug any of the line outs of the EMU in the iMic and plug the iMic in your iPad and you're done!!!

  • Not related to the video but your playing is amazing. Any advice for a 30 something that wants to learn theory and finger style....

  • @jayblue20 Thank you so much! Well, theory and fingerstyle are two different subjects. Find someone who inspires you, that'll keep you going when the going gets tough. Set a goal. What song do you want to play in a years time? As for theory, what would you like to know? Laurence Juber has some nice DVDs out there like Acoustic Guitar Essentials' or 'Understanding DADGAD'

I only started seriously playing when I was 30, so that shows you can still learn some stuff at that 'advanced' age ;-)

  • That was awesome!! Thanks for taking the time to do this and upload here. Very inspirational.

  • Indeed. The time is nigh that on the question "what instrument do you play?" someone answers "the iPad". Now that's a scary thought.... But seriously, Joost, very well done! I'm amazed how you keep on stretching your boundaries as a musician. Keep it up!

  • @ozuidema Thanks man! Long time no talk, btw, we should hook up again some time. Then you can see the amp I built.

  • Hey Joost, I hear this for the first time! Nice work. Could be a commercial for iPad. Good job!

  • I enjoyed that a lot...

BUT now, like with guitar hero & rock band kids will think that this is actually playing a real musical instrument.

  • @RokDAWG1 *hahaha* yeah, which it really isn't. Nothing comes close to playing actual guitar with a real good amp. The subtle dynamics and complexities really bring such a 'real' performance to life.

  • @JazzInc Oh I agree!!

I do love that you can create some GREAT sounding stuff with this.

  • Great song, superb technique and very pleasant singing voice! The best Yet!

    Marcel

  • cant believe it joost. this is brilliant watching this. you are certainly one for the gadgets and i tell you what this song grabs you big time after a couple of plays through. release it man its a hit

  • @neillian1 *hahaha* thanks man. Yeah this song is just great! It's a favorite of both my wife and me

  • Haha supervet! Knap ook zeg!

  • @merelvh :-) Dank je!
