MelodyWhispers, be sure to handle your ragdoll a lot, even if he/she protests (forced love), and never play fight with your hands. I think these two things are what have been essential to our cats being so gentle and trusting. Let us know how your ragdoll is doing. :)
Once I am able to adopt my own Ragdoll, I will be sure to let you know about him/her :) I am thinking of going with a male, they seem more mellow than some of the females I've seen, although that is not a fact.
I hope that my future Ragdoll kitty will have a personality and temperament like Zulu! Love the eyes close up <3
