No offense but I got my moms V6 Mustang to slide better than that and that was back when I had my permit and it was only my second drive. Part of the reason you cant do it is that these cars have such good handling that it makes it a little harder to get sideways than most sport cars. It's not much of a problem from a srop however higher speed drifting isnt easy.

@gtakilla22 lol thanks I must have wrote that when I was tired. but I added some stuff to it since I wrote that. My 700r4 now has corvette clutches and steeles and a corvettes sirvo and valve body (made by raptor), I also got the No-Yo-Yo shift kit. Itll make that 2.8 put you in your seat a little but Ive always enjoyed driving Manuals so much more...I just prefer autos because they are what I know how to work on. Thanks again

@CrazyKidSmoker stop buying automatics? I owned a 88 w/ 2.8 mpi and it would easily do burnouts through third and squak hitting 4th. Also, check the pickup coil in your distrib., commonly blown and can rob alot of power without making the engine fail to run .

i have found one of these v6 2.8L cars in my area for sale for 3200 dollars. it has only 68000 original miles on it. would this be a good buy. it does not have t- tops and it is just a sports coupe like this not the rs or z28. no body damage except for a small deny by the wheel.

$3200 for a 2.8 Camaro? I know you could easily get a Camaro of the same generation with a 350 for $3000 in the States. You'd have to be crazy to buy it for $3200. $1000 at the absolute most, regardless of it's condition you should ever pay for one of these 2.8 Camaros. I would know.

i have a feelin this thing would have whooped an iroc, because a 2.8 pushing over 20 lbs of boost, if my numbers are right,  would be making about 300hp, and about 350lbs of tourque and thats with out the extra weight of a v8

Its actually not dead yet lol, i started her up yesterday and i guess that when i though the engine was crapping out it was just missfiring. Im still going to do the 350 swap though, i dont think it was putting out 300hp, maybe 200 just because of my setup, the turbo boosts but since its so small it alot of hot air so its lacking flow i tihnk

@mikabrandl shit everyone has a 350 i think if u retune your ecu and get heatwrap and heatwrap your exaust manifolds and downpipe and maybe even the intake pipe and step up to a lower temp thermostat and give it a tuneup that thing would woop a stock camaro 350 and it would be cheaper than swaping it and be different from the rest of the pack

what do you wannt to know specifically, basically its just finding a turbo thats the right size (mine was way too small) find wher e you gonna put it and hojw to connect the exhasut to it. Run piping to the intake and make sure you can oil to it and back

kinda was expecting it, we where beating the crap out of everytime it was driven and boosting at 20+ psi lol... i dont really mind i was just waiting for this engine to go befor i coud start a 350 swap so i guess thats the next step.. still was fun as hell, she ran turbo for about a year and a half
