i think old birnbeck pier should be convered to an rnli headquarters for that part of the country...i also think it should be done tastefully so as to keep as many original features as possible.. there would surely be enough room on it to create a mini museum providing information about the piers and the rnli's history. this could also involve some sort of tourist information centre so as to attract the public who would most likely be more than happy to make small donations to the rnli..

@MotorwayCopsTV Why birnbeck is the best location possible in a location like the Bristol Channel it just needs fixing up whatever the cost.
Its older than clevedons pier so should be grade 1 as well.
