I drive a manual car, and have done so for years now. Every time I watch a video of a car with DSG, there are comments about how it's 'faggy' to drive anything but a manual... I don't understand this mentality. I certainly prefer to drive a manual car, but it's not 'faggy' to drive an automatic/semi-manual car. Are F1 drivers fags? What about people who own our dream cars? Plenty of supercars use DSG (or it's rough equivalent). Basically what I'm saying is this: Who the fuck gives a shit?!

Manual trannies are cheaper, more reliable and are also cheap to repair

Umm It is possible to do it with a manual, turn ESP off, press the clutch, shit to 1st, give it gas to 2500 RPM and let go of the clutch quickly and at the same time floor it :D thats essentially what the dsg does, just automatically

The only problem I've has was my throttle body (which was my fault, water methanol injection messed it up), and I've had to swap out my coil packs (which was under warranty). Other than that, I change the oil every 3-4k miles, and Ive had 0 problems. Im also running APR Stage 3, and its still as smooth as butter.

i wouldnt use LC that much in a real car. after a few starts u have to buy a new clutch and thats very expencive. a friend of mine usedLC 12 times in his M5 now he needs a new clutch :-)
