I went to the 99 in brownsville, texas nd it really change my life.. I was a spoiled brat to my parents and would always mis-behave.. my mom knew wht was right for me..but i wanted to comite sucside but it all left when i went to the 99 it changed my life.. it changed me.
@BernardoMora25 not at all its really cool!!!! I loved it and my friend damaris and karla went and are goibg even though they waited in line for like a long time
Im going to go next week i cant wait omfg it sounds pretty scary, although it does sound like they are tryign to unduce fear tactics using real life consuquences, although fear can be a great use for creation, and it can also be a weapon for mass destruction, aahh how i love fear
this walkthough is perfect way to mix horror with reality, because even though these things are very scary, but they are as real as any thing else, after this show, you will stop having nightmares about monsters and all that shit, and you start dreaming real
I just got finished going through this walk through. It took me through many emotions, scared, sad, mutual, and happy. I felt so related to many of the scenarios, because I, myself see many of these things happening each day. It was real, which made me really enjoy it. They did a pretty good job at re-enacting the real lives of teenagers and the problems we go through. I think many teenagers need to see this to see how real death is, when you make the wrong decicions, you can't go back.
As Christians we can't force anything upon you because we can't change you. The only one who can is God Himself. We don't have that power to change a person, but rather power to help lead a people to Jesus:)
It's funny how so many say that they were forced to pray at the end. Nobody forces you to do anything. You don't mention that they tied you down or put a gun to your head did you? Then how did they force you to pray? They invited you to pray and/oraccept Jesus into your heart yes, an Invitation not a force. The only force you were probably feeling was the force of conviction on your heart. The force of God pulling on your heart to turn your life around.
Religion pushes on atheism and atheism pushes on religion so before people start reviewing it based off this message that everyone is crying about, how is it really? Is it scary? Or is it like a museum of death? It's in my area for like 2 weeks and kind of interested.
@lilshanaynay Your right, one day religion will be gone. That day will come when Jesus Christ comes back!!! You see, it's not about religion, but rather a Relationship. It's sad because so many get caught up in religion rather than having a Relationship with Jesus. If you would just try having a relationship with Him, then you will see His Greatness and Love:)
@alohamamma615 to be honest. i agree to an extent. i actually just don't believe in organized religion. i don't believe someone has to go to church to get into "heaven"
@lilshanaynay - start of comment: Church is not the building with the cross on top that a lot of people think of when they think of church. It is a "Body". The church is the body of Christ(the believers(people)in Christ. The building is a place where we as the body can come together. In some countries Christians are not allowed to openly have church so they don't have a regular building they go to.
@lilshanaynay continue comment pg2: They might meet in a house, underground, etc, but they still are a church because they are coming together as a body. It is within this body that we can come together and fellowship, learn, teach, pray for eachother, build relationships, get encouragement, meet new people, worship God together, encourage one another, help eachother, for the Glory of God. Without the whole body an individual can not survive.
@lilshanaynay cont. comment pg3: For example, if I was an arm I couldn't live without the body just as I know I(an arm)is very helpful to the body and has a purpose for the body. If I was a lamb in the field alone and there was a herd of sheep there too I would much rather be with the herd than on my own especially when there are wolves around. I hope you understand what I am saying.
@lilshanaynay cont. comment pg4: I haven't always gone to church, but it was in those times that I didn't go, that I found it harder to get by in life and my walk with the Lord. I felt like a car with no gas all the time with the idiot light on, almost dying out. I didn't get involve and I didn't have the relationships with fellow believers. I didn't have the encouragement I needed nor was I the one to help those who needed it either.
@lilshanaynay cont. comment pg5: I am not saying that this is all we need to do as believers, because having a intimate relationship with God and reading His word and praying daily is important, but being part of the body is important too. With out our church family(Body of Believers-fellow Christians) we cannot do and be everything that God has called us to be and do everything He has called us to do.
@lilshanaynay cont. comment pg6: WE ARE A Family!!! and yes I like to share with anyone I can cause I know we all should be part of God's family. I pray that one day you will be able to see and feel God's Love and Greatness for you and see that He loves you so much that He sent Jesus for you too. He says"For I know the plans I have for you,"declares the Lord," plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
@lilshanaynay cont.comment pg7: I thank God that He has put you in my life for this time and I believe He will use you for His Greatness. You were made for a purpose, Wonderfully and Beautifully made by His hands in your mother's womb. May you be Blessed lilshanaynay:)
i went yesterday.... one of the actors that was 'drunk' grabbed my shoulder and was like "hey baby your cute wanna come and party with me?" my eyes got all wide like this O_O i said no. then another actor asked me if i took his pills! :D he ran away before i could answer him. it was AWESOME!!!!! XD
They make you sign a paper that clearly states there is a gospel message at the end. Jesus loves you :) btw this think scared me to death but it was a great experience.
This was a amazing experience, I loved it and well worth the wait in line and best $3 spent in my life. And even better it changed my friends life she said before this she had been feeling depressed and felt like this experience changed her life.
Stfu everyone, if you didn't like the religious aspect of it then you shouldn't have even went in. They make you sign a contract agreeing with the terms and conditions of this production so Stfu!
You know what everyone why don't u get off Ur lazy butts and travel state to state to help teens. U guys really don't care how hard they work. And sorry u had to waste Ur time on seeing Jesus die for us. Ungrateful people .
i Went to "the 99" Yesterday , ill admit ! it was crazy how everything was shown in reality ! I AM CHRISTIAN CATHOLIC , & i do believe in what they were showing . BUT ... i feel it was disrespecting everyone elses opinion in religion . Because not everyone believes in the same things & it was wrong of them to not only show us, but also make us pray at the end . i did not have a clue that it was all about religion ... <3
Ok, let's look at it this way. Everyone I have met since volunteering to be a OD victim in the crackhouse has been genuine and even though some of my friends did not change their beliefs, However, it is REALITY based. Some of these scenes have directly affected my life. Regardless of what you believe, don't you think some awareness of drug use, drinking and driving, and suicide is a good thing?
@whatisthe99 Irregardless of the message, the one about religion is absolutely deceitful to anyone who enters. Do you guys identify with any specific religion? It would be wise of you and Christlike to be up front and honest with everyone to let them know everything you'll be talking about. Forcing people to pray? Sounds like Lucifer's way to me. You're also robbing American citizens of their freedom of religion. Lucifer's way again. Be honest. Tell people of your intent to discuss religion.
I'm very upset my son had to see this! We are Muslim & weren't told that it was a religious show, after asking them many times..... I can't believe you guys trick ppl from other religions into watching ur show? It's not right!! Jesus getting a beating and killed....... Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!
@MariamkHug I agree, Mariam. As a Christian (Latter Day Saint) I actually find it deceitful that they push their religion, even a general "Christianity", at people at the end. My 11 year old daughter was ambushed and pressured into giving them her email and our home phone number. When they call I'll be using a few choice words to make the devil cry. People behind this program give every Christian of every denomination a bad name. They're actually using Lucifer's tactics for their own means.
@MariamkHug Your son "had" to see this? Who forced him? Was it you? If so, you have yourself to blame for that. As for "tricking" people, no one MADE you walk in nor did they STRAP you down and MAKE you watch this. Why don't you practice some tollerance and instead of bitching, pissing and moaning over every little mention of Jesus, see that not everyone is, or cares about Islam, or being Muslim. Certainly do NOT LOOK at or SPEND US currency, it says In God We Trust, not in Allah.
@MultiDIVAtv They never tell you that the presentation has messages about Jesus in any of the advertising, as far as I've seen. The main message is that it's easy to die if you're not careful, but the other message is about worshiping God. So yeah, it is religious based. The people who put the 99 together are all from a church. I don't think it's cool that they wait until the end to throw all the religious stuff at you. They have people to "talk to you" in the end about Christianity. Come on.
I went to this on Friday, let me tell you this will REALLY get to you and change your view on lots of things. It has definitely set me straight and changed me for the better. I recommend everyone go.
i think i saw something like this but was a long time ago and it wasnt about just teenages..i remember a creep guy tie someone up in one room and some person in a hospital bed..and after they talked about going to church and stuff..which i thought was pretty dumb. like they try to scare you into going to church..is this the same thing?
This scares you into a religion? til now its unrealistic scare me into anything I'll be sure to do it. but I will fall out of it before it becomes old news kinda like past vanity.
I live in Slidell and went yesterday, I Loved it!!! waiting in line was even awesome, they had people dancing, hot chocolate and snacks I may have waited in line for a Hour and a half but that 30 minute trip was worth it, I loved when you where at the grave yard and the doors slam open and there like RUNNNN!!! and the hell scene was the shit!! The demons where getting all up in our faces and the light came on and they said to follow it everyone sprinted out. Saw it 30 minutes later again lol
@MultiDIVAtv ACTUALLY I WENT AND AFTER I GOT OUT OF THE LAST ROOM THEY WHERE TRYING TO GET ME AND MY FORIEND TO "GET CLOSER TO GOD" AND CRAP LIKE THAT AND I THOUGHT I WAS GOIN TO BE SCARY.................................. WRONG!
It pissed me off how in the end it gets all religious. And then after people get to be guilt tripped into accepting God into their hearts. I don't feel that's appropriate. The advertisements say nothing about the 99 being a religious thing. I'm religious and spiritual and everything, but not everyone is. I say if someone doesn't want to be religious then that's fine. We aren't suppose to be guilt tripping people into worshiping God.
i went there with my 2 friends some parts r really freaky i closed my eyes cuz this one guy on the elevator yelled at me and my friends and we screamed then we held our breathe cuz his breathe stunk like crazy. i smelled it all night after that.
My son just brought me a ticket he got from a friend for the Louisville show. I'm trying to learn more about it prior to agreeing. because what I am looking at is more violence. There is not a good message behind guts and death, not to mention the symbolism on the ticket. the one eye (eye of horus) and the 2 red 6's that if you filp, the red eye is where the 3rd 6 would be
@umustwantme The 99 really isn't that violent, and its message is about not making bad choices, and finding god before you die. There is death (as is expected, seeing as this is the 99 people that will die today), and it can be gory at parts, but I don't think it's ever excessively so.
I never noticed that about the eye, though. I'm going to have to go back and look at one of the tickets.
@umustwantme This entire show is dedicated to God and Christians. It shows how everything in the show can be prevented. However, at the beginning of the show, they do mention 666. Depending on how old your son is, and how easily scared he gets is what you should think about before taking him. I went to the Louisville show last night, I'm 13, and I got scared, but at the end, there was a deeper meaning than trying to scare people.

My son just brought me a ticket he got from a friend for the Louisville show. I'm trying to learn more about it prior to agreeing. because what I am looking at is more violence. There is not a good message behind guts and death, not to mention the symbolism on the ticket. the one eye (eye of horus) and the 2 red 6's that if you filp, the red eye is where the 3rd 6 would be
umustwantme 1 year ago
@umustwantme The 99 really isn't that violent, and its message is about not making bad choices, and finding god before you die. There is death (as is expected, seeing as this is the 99 people that will die today), and it can be gory at parts, but I don't think it's ever excessively so.
I never noticed that about the eye, though. I'm going to have to go back and look at one of the tickets.

@alexrousseau815 So is this a religious thing?

@iLeikzMudkipz Yeah.
alexrousseau815 1 year ago
@umustwantme This entire show is dedicated to God and Christians. It shows how everything in the show can be prevented. However, at the beginning of the show, they do mention 666. Depending on how old your son is, and how easily scared he gets is what you should think about before taking him. I went to the Louisville show last night, I'm 13, and I got scared, but at the end, there was a deeper meaning than trying to scare people.
