I have to disagree with on this account. There is no gurantee that the British Monarchy would always have a reasonable IQ to make important decisions. But you're right on the point that someone else would make the decisions for them. But this lady is not the average American IQ. She is at the lower end of the bell curve. I have a feeling that no matter what your presidents so called affiliations are they are far worse and quite more in the open than the last person leading your country. That being said, like it or not, he was really the only candidate people could trust. If he earned that trust or if the republicans earned the distrust is another story all together. I am willing to bet that people distrusted the republicans so much they would vote for anybody. If memory serves me this is how Carter got elected.
