  • theres so such thing as 1959 les paul deluxe..

les paul deluxes weren't around until about 1969 or 1970. thye had mini humbuckers instead of full sized ones and were absolute crap compared to a 1959 STANDARD...which is what you might be referring to right? although the color of your guitar is more like a '69 deluxe than it is a 59's std. I'd say the best les paul copy are the tokai love rock models..they did em spot on from the original 50's les pauls and only will down ya like 1500 at best

  • Did I say Les Paul Deluxe? I meant the Les Paul Standard. The Deluxe was introduced in 1968 and I used to own a 1968 Les Paul Deluxe in fact. A gold one. Selling it 30 years ago was one of the more foolish things I did. I beg to differ with your opinion they were absolute crap it was a great sounding guitar one of the finest I ever owned. But you are entitled to your opinion of course. I actually owned one. Martin Barre of Jethro Tull played the Deluxe.

    Thanks for listening.

  • The lead is all played in the first position with a lot of open strings. The rhythm guitar is all up and down the neck.

  • Nice Little Ditty Bill I Think Daisy Mae Might Be Some Insperation Here Bro!!!

  • Thanks Dog! I like jamming around with the rockabilly once in a while just for the hell of it and to loosen up the fingers. It is good practice on the rhythm guitar especially.

    Thanks for listening.
