What do you think about Trans people who prefer to be seen/known as their new gender, instead of as a "trans-person?" Do you have a preference & do you think you might change your opinion over time? I mean no harm, just curious, Thanks!
I am one of those people who choose to be seen and known as my 'new' gender, I hate being though of as a trans-guy. I don't feel like anything else but just a regular dude. I don't have a problem with people who want to be out to everyone but its just not me, and i don't feel like that will change anytime soon.
@GoodnightQuietCity Sorry "new-gender" was not correct of me to say. It was the best way I could explain via text but I understand your response. Most trans-people I have seen who explain there new identity call themselves "trans" instead of just either now male/female. I would think they would want to blend-in more with society if they go thru all the trouble to transition, by going by male/female not trans. But to each his own. Since you have first-hand experience thanks for your perspective.
