I have the plan...Claire isn't biologically Nathan's daughter. I mean they're only taking the mum's word for it and she doesn't seem particularly reliable. Thus leaving it open for them to get together. The obvious attraction between the two actors means this storyline is really frustrating. I think that's why in the second season there are no scenes of Claire and Peter together. Fans are in a uproar.
