On one hand your saying it has to be THE gospel not the better one ?. It is not our gospel. It is God's gospel If God wanted to save and all heard was Jesus wept He could save. Paul is saying there is a better gospel to be saved by .I don't care if its nonsense to invite Jesus into your heart I would not preach that way But if someone did I would not negate God's Spirit to save.The gospel works in mystery by His Spirit.A refined gospel can be honoring but not final.Do you wittness regularly

I'm not talking about the way a message is delivered I'm talking about the message.

Now in your original post you said give up the doctrine of repentance? That is a very serious offense. You cited Hebrews 6 as justification. Those verses actually are about repenting so we can be freed from sin.

Repentance in gospels is to Jews under law Acts2 specific to whom killed the Lord Jesus Repenatance cannot be full before salvation it is not real repentance.We receive Christ by grace and faith, repentance as a depraved sinner is impossible only a believer can repent.Heb 6 is saying not to be in constant repentance as a believer it is dishonorable and immature not gloryfying to God as suggested

@polopowers1 Hebrews 6 is not saying that we shouldn't repent any more or that it is dishonouring to God but it's about not establishing the theological foundations of salvation over and over again. What it seems like is that the basic foundations was called into question over and over again and it prevented them from moving beyond that, into solid foods. As you can see from verse 1 these foundations are called elementary 'teachings'. Verse 4 on is about people rejecting Christ in full knowledge

It sounds emotionally good to be in constant repentance is dis honorable to Christ.Paul loves drama he wants to come off as radical the one this chucrh age needs. The fact that so many religious people are offended by Paul Washer's messages is proof that many self professing "Christians" are phoneys whose spirituality goes no further than the Church's Front Door on Sunday.

Sitting on a Church Pew every other Sunday does not make you a Christian. A new life in Christ does.

Too many pseudo Christians get offended when anyone talks about REPENTANCE and HOLINESS. They act like Vampires around garlic when you start talking about leading Holy lives.

paul must realize that our sinful flesh is still here. our flesh is not regenerated, God makes our spirit alive. if you are saved, you can sin all you want and still be saved because when you die, your sinless spirit will be dispatched from your body and you will go to heaven. you sin because you walk in the flesh. paul is basically teaching that continuous walk in the spirit is evidence of somebody being saved. there were people in the Bible who were saved that sinned horribly afterwards.
