Try your quickest to cruisers or battle cruisers and find a low/null sec corp to join. MASSIVE difference in gameplay..hell..even low and null are nothing alike. Highsec is nothing to null. Thats where the fun is at. Believe me. :)

i was going to continue the game after my trial but then i figured out how over powered fighters are there fighters! not capital ships yet they can easily kill multiple frigates alone and can take as much damage as a battlecruiser what kind of fighter is that?
@videolord3 Try using fighters against a capital ship it dosen't work very well. A lone carrier has no primary turrets, missiles, anything. The fighters are basically a last line of defence. Any fleet that respects itself and goes after a Carrier will have NO problem dealing with them. Don't bitch, anyways, chances are you will never have to face a Carrier, also... to lock on to a cruiser with a carrier takes forever... your in no danger if you leave

Titans used to have and AOE doomsday but to many people complained how it was almost insta death and how they couldn't escape its range and bla bla bla so it was changed. Back in the day if a titan showed up on the field you knew it was time to bail.

Kind of sucks to be you because it means you would never undock, everything you ever do in EVE is pvp. The market, turning missions LP into ISK, it's all PVP, just not directly ship vs ship but still it is player vs player on the market etc. It's all the same thing, people making and loosing ISK and competing with each other all hoping to come out the better or it. (EVERYTHING you buy on the market is made by players except meta items, skillbooks and unresearched bp's)
That is what makes EVE so great. The competition that requires one to have a brain with a certain minimum level of performance and the ability to put it to use. If you want repitition and ease of same thing over and over, go for WoW.

This video brings life to an utterly boring game. In reality, the action in EVE is not nearly as exciting as the strategy that goes in behind it. If the game did look that good though, then you'd never be able to have those 100-man+ POS battles with drone swarms bigger than entire stations. You don't get that awesomeness anywhere else.
@Archonful Meh. I tried, I just wasn't patient enough. I just wish that eve was more sim like. I'll give eve this. It looks amazing, and I like the setting/atmosphere. Just not so much the gameplay.
Neat video. I just wish that Eve was as exciting as the video showed. I didn't play it for long but clicking orbit and my shoot button, and just watching meters go down wasn't too fun for me. I wish they would let you actually control and fly the ship.
every time I go trough my eve vids watch evening I regret no longer being able to play it. May not be the best game game play wise, but on all other factors it is just the best. And face it there is no mmo with a community that makes quality fids like the EVE community does.
but why do people always point out the combat aspect of the game when they make a video about eve.. eve is about so much more, sure combat is one of the most exciting things, but there is a lot more to it than just that..
@Eddix4u I believe the primary reason for that is the fact that not too many people want to watch a mining operation in action or trading. There are a few vids here and there showing PVE (Player vs Everything) but you'll find that they aren't as interesting. Most viewers want to watch things entertaining and/or exciting not something that could otherwise be used as a sleep aid.

whoever says EVE sucks well, it does not because it's already awesome and when Incarna fully launches it will be the most optimal MMORPG that bridges MMOFPS Dust 514 on console, the first genre ever of its kind. The game is not for people with small minds so return to runescape cause this is the real thing. it's a cold plate served daily but you'll love to eat it.

the only downside i could find to the game was that unless you buy a character someone who has played longer will always have somewhat of a upper hand due to how the skill system is setup but at the same time thats what makes the game great for so many people lol

Contrary to eve's reputation, the only people who do any spread sheeting are people in the trading business and even then you have to be obsessed with it to bother with such careful marketing. most pvpers just grab mods at whatever price and go have fun.

everything in EVE sand box moves towards dictatorship and autocracy... where again everything is geared towards making more ISK / money. Weak shelter under powerful. From lore stand point yes gallante are guardians of democracy ... they guard illusion to save them selves.

@suicdekng well i you didnt entirely use the wow interpretation correctly but i do have to say that i like eve more ..
the only downside i could find to the game was that unless you buy a character someone who has played longer will always have somewhat of a upper hand due to how the skill system is setup but at the same time thats what makes the game great for so many people lol

@CheaterNLaw Another uncreative critique of eve online as per the infamous yachzee who, having played only enough of the game to barely clear the tutorial, rated the game poorly because he didn't understand it.
Contrary to eve's reputation, the only people who do any spread sheeting are people in the trading business and even then you have to be obsessed with it to bother with such careful marketing. most pvpers just grab mods at whatever price and go have fun.

I think they should make a game like EVE but ur not a ship, your a crew member. One drives, one mans the turret. That could be like a rifter, then for huge ships you need a crew of like 30 or something. :P

@Raydeus it is ingame footage what are you talking about? they shoot all their videos at an extremely high resolution and then compile them into a smaller resolution that smooths the edges. Oh, and EVE is awesome. Cry baby.

everything in EVE sand box moves towards dictatorship and autocracy... where again everything is geared towards making more ISK / money. Weak shelter under powerful. From lore stand point yes gallante are guardians of democracy ... they guard illusion to save them selves.

@stormscion "dictatorship and autocracy" Well a Caldari with illusions of being an Amarr would say that. :-p As for shelter, I plough my own path along tthe space lanes, and shall join a corp when my freedom to go where I want is threatened, plus I will join my comrades to defend the precious freedom of other allances when it is under threat. The Gallantee thus need no lessons of morality from the Caldari, who would have the galaxy think they are the new Amarr, who see us as Minmatar. ;-)

This is the worst selction of music for this. . .
I can;t stand this song alone, and then you fit it with video as good as yours and you completely ruin it. You could have put on a track no one knew and it would have sounded awesome. Just look what "war has Come to EvE" he used a track that was not only unknown for the most part(At least that verson of it.) but it gave the video so much depth. . .
