Starting with the 1986-1987 season, the Sonics made the playoffs 11 of the enxt 13 seasons; the only two they missed, they finished right at .500 (and one of those was a strike-shortened season). As for the Blunder, that final game against Dallas proved that you can't spell CHOKE without OKC.

Me being a Houston Rockets fan I miss the Sonics. The Rockets worst nightmare. It just seemed that every year they played the Sonics always eliminated us.
I miss the Sonic colors. Idk why they had to move to OK of all places. Whats done is done. I would gladly hope and accept a new team in Seattle, same name, same colors. I will always miss the Sonics.
The incredible playoff games against the Rockets were magical. Super Sonics rock!!!!!!!!

All Seattle needs is a new arean and someone in charge who won't move the team out of Seattle. If the NFL can bring the Browns back then the NBA can definitely bring the Sonics back. There's no noise up in the Northwest as far as the NBA goes except for Portland.

Megamatt, you idiot. The reason the Thunder are in the playoffs for two years is because of what was put together in Seattle. The Sonics were about to be good, but they moved right when that was going to happen. It sucks Sonics fans waited around for 5 years years of terrible b-ball and the OKC Thunder got an automatic contender because of was was brewing in Seattle.
