Ive been sweeping chimneys in the pittsburgh area since 1986 and i gotta say I got the biggest laugh watching this dude hurl his rods and brush up onto the roof, how bout just carry them up the ladder maybe? theyre tools and its a shingle roof...my customers would shoot me if i behaved half as badly as ole Bert here......chim chim charoo my man.

ok... throwing your tools on the roof from the ground? i assume that was so you could climb the ladder while maintaining 3 points of contact at all times. I have an idea. how bout tying all your tools off on the ground. throw the other end of the rope on the roof, then climb your ladder. when on the roof, pull your tools up. reverse for lowering to ground.
Reminds me of the T.V. star Rod Hull who fell off his roof and died while fixing his T.V. aerial............Heard he had a great reception at his funeral
Jeeez, Useless exuse for a Chimney sweep. First. If he had trouble lifting THAT tool when put together, he needs to get his ass to the gym. Also very proffesional throwing the tools.

You can clean this 5-6 meter chimneys from the ground to the top in ca. 15 seconds with the right tools.

You don't throw your rods onto the roof.enroll yourself at the institute and learn your trade. Lousy sweep. and you never throw rods off the roof .
