  • Thanks a lot for the video. I just replaced some filters that were in bad shape. Now my family and I can breathe again.

  • @silveradoSSconcepts You may want to check the filter to see if you have in in there the right way.

  • Yes, I just came from the dealer and my 1999 3500 with a 454 engine does not have a cabin filter so now it is confirmed. But it does have stinky air vents when the heat is on. So that is the problem for me.

  • Mine is a 1999 3500 with a 454 engine. Old body style. It does not look like your pictures show. Does anybody think that it has a cab filter? I sure can't find it.

  • @siclmn Your truck might not have one. If it did it would more than likely have been in the same spot as shown in the video.

  • Where would the cabin air filter be on an 04 Chevy Suburban? I know there is a Charcoal one but just unsure where it would be

  • @Knightblood1 The only came on the 99-02 Susurban. Here's a video that we did, that shows you where they were located. youtube.com/watch?v=Mp45ToY4Pbw

  • Thanks for the video, helped alot.

  • On the 2007 GMC SIERRA new body style dose it come with cab filters I can't find a way to get to them I don't know if it even have some.

  • do you think that my 05 chevy silver ado has one?

  • @onerussian No, 99-02.

  • This was a great video, very helpful. Thank you very much!

  • hahah i changed mine today..i felt the difference thanks .vatoo!!!

  • do you know how to get rid of a flaping noise inside the fan on a chevy pickup 1996 . thanks. GT.

  • heyy guys , ur videos ROCKK . . but i noticed that my air has been kind of sluggish [i guess] && i was wondering does a 97 ford expedition havee a Cabin Filter ? and if so , can yu create a video or at least tell me what i would need and the location ? thankss (:

  • @FaaumuPride There wasn't one on the 97, that came standard on the vehicle.

  • 210K and was not getting any air, was having to run the fan on 5 and max a/c. I only removed the two screws due to the center console and it was simple replacement. Thanks for the video.

  • Thanks for the info. My 2003 GMC is all different. I can`t seem to find where to change the cabin filter. Jim

  • @plastite Hey Jim, on your 2003 Chevy discontinued the cabin filter due to a redesign in the HVAC system. The service manuals may say that there is a replacement for your vehicle, but there isn't.

    Hope this helps you out.

  • @1aauto Thanks again, I did some research and found out GM cheaped out on 2003-2006 trucks. I have lots of problems with my heater/AC. I think the resister is gone now.

  • very helpful.. thank you ..

    2000 silverado

  • well my 2002 silverado is used as a work truck for a drywall company and its never been changed in its life andthat is going to make a big mess!

  • @chevys10lord LOL yes that will make it interesting.

  • excellent video thanks for your help !!!

  • ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO! THANKS!! What does the "cabin filter" do?? Does my '04 Silverado 1500 LS 2WD 4.8L V8 have this? If it does, it's never been changed...

  • @231MasseyFerguson Yes your truck has one, it filters the air coming in to the passenger compartment. We lived for years without them but they do improve air quality in the car. If you have not changed yours in a long time/ever you will probably notice your fan blows stronger after you do change it.

  • @1aauto THANKS FOR THE REPLY! Ok, is it in the same location as the one in this video? I sure hope you're right because I've had to argue up and down with people about my truck having an in-line fuel filter. Even had a couple people crawl under it to look for themselves!! LOL! And yes, they crawled right back out, dirty, and admitting I was right. (That's the funny part!) I was told the fuel filter is in the tank and it gets changed with the fuel pump......I'll be checking on the cabin filter.
