is there any way how i can run android on windows 7 but udk in fullscreen and with multitouch support

i have a netvertible and i think it would be cool when i can use my pc as android tablet like this new thing from samsung

  • If you would like to try some of the cool Android apps on your desktop, you can simply download and install YouWave Android software on Windows. Instead of manually following these many technical steps, you can run an app very easily by just few clicks.

  • There is a executable version ;)

    Of this same emulator ;)

  • Before you to a "tutorial", you should do a dry run so that you are familiar with the necessary steps that are involved. That way you're not torturing your audience while you try and figure out what your're doing.

  • There must be at least one platform installed , the latest platform is 2.2, if you try to run emulator before that, then i will not help , i am still trying to run the first program from last 1 hour, but at least the emulator is set now :)

  • actually i get this :

    C:\Users\paul>emulator

emulator: ERROR: You did not specify a virtual device name, and the system

    directory could not be found.

If you are an Android SDK user, please use '@<name>' or '-avd <name>'

to start a given virtual device (see -help-avd for details).

Otherwise, follow the instructions in -help-disk-images to start the emulator

    C:\Users\paul>

  • command prompt i get error - you did not specify a virtual device name, and the system directory couldnt be found...i followed ur instrctions to the word - Win 7

  • Over here the instructions are behind the video.

  • im having problems even on my computer with xp the emulator doesnt work and i get a error when i click on setup

  • Great video! Got me started in seconds...

  • too much playing around without saying a word what you were doing.. e.g. changing the envirinment variable etc. ... a newbie and had a hard time figuring it out... as an instruction video 5/10

  • maaaan!!! you rock... thanks a billion for making it so simple... i was so scared of installing and configuring the things...

  • Cool - I was not sure these instructions still worked with the latest code.

  • Wow - tough crowd :) I think I figured it out eventually. I just had to click around a bit.

  • But he can program better than me :(

  • I dont wanna flame or anything, but a PhD doesnt know how to environment variables? O_o

  • Google Android 0.9 SDK r1 Beta Released. Check the In-Depth Video Tour here youtube(dot) com/watch?v=quwXY3w26wg waiting it for so long times

  • I guess it's a good video, havent watched it yet, but OH NOES! NO SCROLLING :(

  • Yeah, why is it like that?

  • i dunno.. Maybe the video was in a bad file format when it was uploaded?

  • Thanks Chuck!

  • what is it use for?

  • its works for what?

  • developing applications for it, friend of mine is working on an sms application for it

  • Really really great work...

    Thanks a lot :)

  • test

  • Just to clarify, I had to install the Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers, Windows version, from the Downloads page to get Android to work.
