I used to think that throwing a Pikmin into the Armored Cannon Beetle's air nozzle caused the Pikmin to die (making me wonder just how I was gonna pull off a no-death run through this game) - little did I know, they actually survive it! Huzzah!

they attack the feet because if you have alot of pikmin attacking its foot it has a hard time lifting it. Try it and see

The Pikmin attack the feet because you can kill Beady Long Legs by doing that. Although it takes a long time.

for beady long legs.........all you have to do is make a at least 50-pack pikmin surrond it and then when it falls to the ground you attack....results=it will be hard for that what ever it is to get back up

Look at it very closely in the Piklopedia in Pikmin 2. It has face-like patterns on its sphere thing. x_x Strangely, the Raging Long Legs doesn't have any such patterns. It's only the Beady Long Legs.

Actually, it does have a face. There are two dark red splotches on one side of its body that look like eyes, and then there's a mark that looks like a mouth...with fangs...it's scary! DX
