Great review but the whole "plug into the CPU" thing is just killing me. It plugs into the motherboard which holds the CPU. Other than that I love this review, especially the part where you turn off the lights.

The keyboard rules that's for sure but it sucks that the plug for your head set is no the "back" that means your cable has to travel over or along your keyboard. Except the spread of the macros i find it great 9.7 *out of 10. And i find the Media controls just fine work perfectly

@TheRhubarbIsASpy I am still using mine for gaming...this video is almost 2 years old. I've had no problems with the "good" one I got (note that my first one was a dud and I RTM'ed it to NewEgg).

@TheCanky You might have gotten a bad one...I think I mentioned it in the video but the first one I had to RTM...it did suck. The second one, I am still using right now to type this actually...and everything still works great.

Saitek makes the best keyboards, I'm using Eclipse II, and before that i had Eclipse I and I've loved them both for gaming, Cyborg is better, but I couldn't afford it when I bought my Eclipse II :P

a veerry good keyboard... easy to custom... verry confotable... you can change collors brightness on sectors on the keyboard.....i dont regret buying this keyboard...and with a logitek g9 its a perfect combo...ou and btw ... the drivers that came with the keyboard where kinda glithcy...it rezultet in restarting my computer when i was playing or evan working... so i recomend downloading the drivers from their website

No, unfortunately the brightness levels (off, 1, 2, 3) covers the entire keyboard.

get a proper table for space hehe most of gamers and computer users just setup their computer, keyboard, mouse and monitor but they don't setup their computer table and chairs it is very important to setup the table and chair because these things brings you comfort while using the computer for a long period of time.

@yusuf164 Well, I haven't actually ever used the macro keys. Don't need 'em for programming or the games I play. And everything I've read about it says the macro functionality is spotty as best. I just bought it for the backlighting.

Slippery? I have had this keyboard for about 4 months now and I had zero experiences with my fingers 'slipping'. The textures between the buttons aren't even noticeable when in use.

Fricken Bestbuy...

I bought mine yesterday... I plugged it in, installed everything and two things went wrong:

1. I did everything right, and went through the whole process, but the macro keys DO NOT work at all.

2. WASD keys can only be red, and when you try to change the color, it starts being a smartass and changes the brightness. Seriously, not cool man.

Okay, I gave back the keyboard a long time ago, but not because I had problems with it... I just have better things to spend $70 on. Turns out I didn't install it properly. Make sure that when Windows asks you if you want your computer to automatically search for updates, ALLOW IT EVERYTIME IT ASKS. If you did that, then sorry I don't know what your problem is.
