  • @anthony6661:

really? that's like jumping from the pan into the fire !

at least italians have a more-laid back philosophy - we tend to be more patient more compassionate.

You think you're going to get a better deal with the French?

    good luck !

  • I believe she & her boyfriend are innocent.

  • She acted crazy afterwards, lied several times and on many occasions people in the USA have been convicted on similar evidence. Watch Lisa Bloom on AC360 on CNN for the facts and not the lies.

  • Well, speaking as an English European, I have little faith in the ability of the Italian judicial system. I wouldn't go so far as to say that a good deal of people in it are corrupt, but procedures on evidence are flawed by American and general European standards.

  • What the hell does being middle class and from Seattle adn( when it's conveniant) a Roman Catholic have to do with being innocent. We KNOW that it definitely took more than one person to kill Meredith(the key point of trial-not media sensationalism), we know of turning off phones at strange times and know that despite things being ruled inadmissable for silly reasons the entire defences reasoning is that the Perugia police, several forensics have all deliberately planted evidence over 45 days

  • So self assured, so stupid. How many people did it take to kill Nicole Simpson and Ronald Goldman? Ronald Goldman and Nicole lifted weights and exercised daily, unlike Ms. Kirschner.

  • From what I know about this case, I believe her to be innocent. That last fingerprint argument for the defense seems pretty good for one. I don't know how the jury was persuaded to discount that.

  • I don't feel sorry for her at all...if she was innocent, then that's all the more reason to tell the police the truth but that's not what she did...instead she spent the week after the murder, lying to the police in every single chance she could...why do that if you are innocent? she got what she deserved

  • "why do that if you are innocent?"

The better question is why the Italian police wouldn't have any audio or video of there interogation of her. All they have is her signature on a piece of paper. Amanda Knox was high that night. That's an attested fact. How does somebody that has no background of violence or insanity and is stoned out of their mind commit a murder and manage to leave not a shred of evidence in the room where the murder took place?

  • Furthermore, the black guy that was already convicted left fingerprints, semen, and DNA all over the room where the murder took place.

It's pretty clear that sensationalism, emotion, and the Italian judicial philosophy of "guilty until proven innocent" is a great recipe for injustice.

  • The trial was held in Italy, not the US.You're projecting US law. It's not applicable in Italy even if she is an American

  • We know that the trial is being helt in Italy. The Italian judicial system is apparently inferior to that of the U.S.

  • @jemerson85:

    really? how so?

  • For a country full of great vision and achievement over the past 230 years it is amazing some Americans can be so dumb and retarded. The person was 21 you muppet- so how the hell does the "no previous convictions" have any relevance- it was a great way to introduce oneself to life in a new country by using drugs regularly(felony in Italy) and having several promiscous relationships with random strangers - not the "sweet girl" as portrayed by that arrogant and hideous knox family.

  • Sure, she was sexually promiscuous and a drug user. There's millions of girls like that all over the world. Unfortunately for you, that doesn't make them all murderers. There were no fingerprints or DNA of hers found anywhere in the room where the murder took place. They've already found the murderer and convicted him.

Poor Robert Jenkins, is the school system in the UK really as bad as you make it out to be?

  • My guess is that most Americans posting on youtube are angry teens or rednecks with an opinion, while the people running the system of great vision and achievement are busy working 24/7 to sell shit to angry teens and rednecks with an opinion. ;)

  • @jemerson85:

I'll tell you - Amanda is really a phantom ...

not only wasn't there a trace of her DNA fingerprints in M's room, there wasn't a trace in the WHOLE house, not even her room, or her table-lamp that was in

    M's room ...

Amazing! and yet she was a tenant for 4 months !!!!

her response to some of her classmates over M's murder?

    ' ,,, shit happens!' ... yeah, isn't she a treasure ?

  • otto8855,

I never said she was a treasure or anything close to it. All I've claimed is that there isn't enough evidence to convict the girl of murder.

How does an individual manage to be so utterly brilliant as to commit a murder and clean up every trace of DNA everywhere at the crime scene and yet be so absent-minded as to take the murder weapon afterwards and then fail to clean it?

I'm sorry to say it, but you're an idiot. You'd fit right in with the Italian judicial system.

  • jemerson85:

i'm going to give you one more go - The answer is that they didn't; luminol revealed blooded footprints that had been cleaned!

There was NO DNA is her room! Her lampshade was in M's room, but NO DNA of A.

The knife was cleaned - they found DNA traces of M's blood -R's flat stung of bleach!

Why don't you READ Micheli's judgement before you hit the keyboard?

But you're right about me being an idiot; only an idiot would bother replying to a dipstick like you!

    Read the facts!
