So the question is, do I sell my 2010 for a 2011 with 412 HP, or do I find the money to add this system to my car......I think I answered my own question. Great product, and no whine!
400HP is a lot. No whine makes it a sleeper. 5lb of boost you don't have to worry about your motor exploding, or paying more to have your motor built. I think this kit is awesome.
400 raer wheel hp plus 15% to account for driveline loss = 460 hp. If you see most stock dyno runs on stangs they are around 260-270 hp at the rear wheels while they are rated at 300-315 hp. Same for most vehicles.
@Terreos if your mustang is completely stock they average i think 466 was estimated but that depends on the kind of gas in your area, altitude, etc. My car is a little more modified now and hopefully will make the 11's now while with this old setup was 12.25 110mph on the 1/4 mile which is NOT so bad for a daily driver :P
@Dit0sMot0rs With a good set of tires it should be possible. Make a video if you take it to the track. Still deciding what I want to do to my mustang. :)
@Terreos well I got some MT 305's I use when I go to infineon which hook up amazingly :) I am actually going to a small autocross testing event at infineon this saturday so i might post that up as well.
@Terreos but yes 400hp is correct, the big thing is that it is running only 5 psi and does not strain the motor. so have 400 to the wheels with little strain is pretty amazing to me.
i just think it would be to much money for only 400hp but everyone is diffrent.

I love the fact that this supercharger has no whine. It gives you the ability to smoke just about any normal car on the road, and they go WTF!?!?!

im getting same supercharger, best on the market,go edelbrock.Plus i got headers and high flow cats, with CAI,i should see 430 HP at the wheels.

you'll see more than that. even more if u get rid of the driveshaft for a single piece aluminum.

sadly it doesnt make any whine what so ever, but the technco supercharger sounds like a tin can full of change bouncing around

maybe im weird but why would you want it whine??
Camaros5678 2 years ago

What the fuck? only 400 horsepower? How? edelbrock says it puts out 466 HP with a STOCK mustang GT? are ur numbers right?
metalrayne1 2 years ago
well because its 466 to the crank and only running 5psi. i get average 24mpg on the freeway so its not so bad for a 400hp car
Dit0sMot0rs 2 years ago
in mine with a cai and exhauist i can get up to 32 mpg
SVTcobrasn8kbite 1 year ago
its puts 460 to the crank. BUT at the wheels is 400hp
Camaros5678 2 years ago
that 466 is probably supposed to be at the crank I guess because im seeing 400 hp at the wheels consistent at 5psi with this blower
mustangt07red 2 years ago
yeah man in the Edelbrock ads it says 466 to crank but with the 8lbs pulley you will see 460+ to the tire this is the kit im saving for my bullitt

@metalrayne1 466hp was the flywheel hp not the hp to the wheels tard
grabberblusnake 9 months ago
@metalrayne1 yea the supercharger is awsome he just doesent have to much psi going. If he bostest it up to 15psi he will be at like 500 rwhp ;)
kickeraudio987 6 months ago
@metalrayne1 400 rwhp roughly equals 460 hp at the crank. So Edelbrock isn't lying.
