SubhanAllah, Imam Bukhari is an absolutely incredible character, he seems like he'd fit right in with the Sahaba. I feel like its pointless to say this, but may Allah enter him into jannah al-firdaws and spare him of hell fire and the torment of the grave.

I don't know how that at all even has the slightest thing to do with bukhari not being a sahaba............An era blessed by Allah?...What's your Qur'anic daleel for there ever being an era blessed by Allah?...

Bottom line is you had to be a companion of the Prophet to be a Sahaba.......there's no "coulda shoulda woulda" when dealing with stuff like this......that's what bid3ah is based upon too....."coulda shoulda woulda" garbage.....
