at least she died doing something she loved :( this is the sadest thing ive ever seen, im sure she was a fabulous horse rider, it is such a shame :9 what happend to her horse?
The thing that got me on this video was the year she was born...1993. That was the same year I was born so she would be 18 now if she was still alive. I can't imagine leaving the world this early. she was soo young....
@lovehammynow no she wasot Jessica loved to video her life and she was videoing the day she died the video shows her putting the jump up higher but then it runs out of battery
@hollieandizzy im not talking about that ,the fact she was riding on her own was a bit out of bounds even if she knew and trusted her horse she should always take someone with her then she may have survived because no one saw her die because no one went with her then maybe everybody said she died instantly when she may have bled to death.
i have watched alot of videos on her.... she was such an amazing rider....she had confidence.....i hope all is well for her family....no one deserves to lose a person as amazing as she was....R.I.P JESS FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS :( X
don't want to insult but the girl riding on the first pictures isn't comparable with the professional riders in the other pictures. Sad what happend tough.
@MsWheelz My riding instructor always told we to just relax and go limp. It was proven with steeplechase jockeys that tensing your muscles actually greatly increases your risk of injury. Be like Jello :)
Why is it always the talented riders? I think I heard about her in someone's forum on howrse or on trotontv and this other girl (who was killed when her horse trampled her when he panicked over something.)
I think this is a prime example of why you should never jump your horses alone.
@hannahbananaroxsox I agree with you. One time, when i was at my old barn we were just about to leave after a lesson but we noticed a girl riding a massive horse that wasn't hers (with permission of course) and we stayed and watched. and what happened? she fell. i think she was lucky we stuck around.
but jessica forsyth was an amazing rider and i think even though you should always be supervised the bond between her and boomer was something different...
thats so sad. Everytime I watch her videos my stomach drops...Its horrible she passed away..but in a way, its kind of a good thing that she was alone because i'm sure nobody would want to see such an amazing and talented girl like Jessica die.
@Unbridled396 shes just verry well known. by youtubers at least if you look up her channel JessBoomer(i think) her horse is really great, she was also a really sweet person to talk to :) always smiley!
@ TheStarSorceress, when you fall, do as your teacher says, curl into a ball and roll. Always always ALWAYS!!! wear a body protector. My horse has this habit of jumping and then putting his head down when he lands which results in me catapulting over his head at 100 MPH.. great fun - not!
I hope you have fun riding and always remember.....
the hardest thing about horse riding is - the ground! ;-)
To all who knew her, my deepest condolences. Just watching this video I can tell she was a talented rider (especially a jumper).
I'm a rider myself & I'm just learning how to canter and would like to learn jumping someday. I always try to be aware of the dangers & how to keep myself safe. Can anyone give me tips on what to do if I fall or something? My teacher says just curl into a ball/protect head/neck.
I know how it feels to lose someone youlove soo much..... I lost my brother and some days i just wish it had never happened and that he was back here with us safe just as Jess's family must be feeling and my heart is with them...... XX R.I.P Jess and my Bro Tony XX Forever in our hearts, always in our thoughts..... XX
She died in a horse riding accident. Her horse Boomer bolted after a jump and Jessica rode him along the fence trying to slow him down when they flipped over the fence and she was killed instantly. (that's what they think happened as they were alone at the time). Very sad.
I feel so bad for Jesica and all, but half the pics in the slideshow are men.

If I die when I am young, I would want to die with my horse, not in a hospital, or a bed, miserable. Great video! RIP Jesica.
