im flattered to get so much attention from such a simple video. it was merely an attempt to "break through the clutter" of traditional tax season advertising by offering something completely "outside the box." my objective was to target a "niche" audience, perhaps at the expense of a alienating a much broader audience. The fact that you have devoted so much energy to deconstructing this ad means that i indeed reached a much broader demographic than expected so thank you for the validation.

first off, kudos for breaking through the clutter and creating an entertaining commercial.

however, the whole point of advertising is to create a consumer initiative. i do not think that it is there. 15 years experience is great. however, the only thing resonating is the minds of the viewers is "getcha money quick" and "taxmonkey." more emphasis on the 15 years and the brand name next year.
