I admire her so much for her strength to keep going on when I'm not sure I could if I lost my husband. Her love of her daughter and her skating could be the only things that would keep her going after such a shock, and after nearly a lifetime of skating with her Sergei.

Katia is one of my favorite skaters. She has really inspired me to work hard in Figure skating.

I remember so well when she and her late husband won their gold medals and I remember when Sergei died. As a pair, they were breathtaking but now, she is happy again and her oldest daughter has her father in her, just look at her and you see him.
