  • It must be a clipping from a film. Please let us know the name

  • How fortunate were those people who lived in the age of Thakur...

  • @jana0ana Such innocent youth, beauty allied to grace and freshness...! Were to find nowdays ? These modern ashrams produce only self-pride and egotisme disguised in virtuous robes.....All love gone to the Idols......

  • @sinoples to find simplicity, innocence don't look outward, forget about what others do.... look inward... you'll find the same peace... because He guides everyone who seeks Him.

  • awesome!!

  • It is only on rare stages in evolution of mankind that such complete manifestation of the divine in human form happens. Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa was such. People who want to talk rubbish are beyond help or redemption despite their denial using logic we can understand that they are people who are suffering from a mental ailment and are frustrated with life. perhaps reading the Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna may be helpful to them. But their Karma is so negative they will shy away from this.

  • @strangerlover11 you're 30 .... and yet at this age you are still busy commenting shit at other people's videos . possibly a school dropout who didnt get any employment in pakistan......arent you ?

    pity ......

calling us names wont help your cause my dear shit head . it would only glorify the matchless peaceful tolerance of hindus and highlight the intolerance so typical of most muslims !!!!

    good luck :D

  • @strangerlover11 - Ayesha was only 9 years old when Muhammad raped her - she was only a child - that makes your schizophrenic, delusional "Prophet" a pedophile and pervert- this is the clown you follow.

The Koran is just one big fairy tale- there is no Gabriel- Muhammad suffered from delusions, hallucinations, and kept hearing voices

Osama was thrown to sea like a pig, after being shot like a dog

Guantanamo Bay prisoners cried like babies when Koran was used as toilet paper before them! LOL!

  • @pistachioguy Coran used as a toilette paper n Guantanamo ????? How is possible threat other's beliefs, no matter how fantastic they could be....

  • @strangerlover11 ....dont do this brother...plz dont....these comments of urs just show ur hate and intolerance...the very fact that both Islam and Hinduism have hundreds of thousands of followers acroos the world show that both of them are great religions and both are true...again both are existent side by side shows the fact that the allmighty wills them stay together..AGAIN...to some of my hot headed Hindu brothers..this brother of ours is not aware of our religion..

  • @sagsan2012 Sorry to say but I do not see any complementarity betwwen Vedas science and theololgical Muhammad teachings (and actings specially)....

  • @sinoples and I am sorry that u dont.It is not always about argument & counter arguments.Thakur himself had said this..in his childhood,he used o mock all those scholars who used to come to kamarpukur and take part in religious debates.Same with me..I dont believe in arguments based on scriptures.I hv read Thakur's teachings and believe that I now understand the faiths better..and also see similarities between them.He was correct. These are all different ways leading to a single truth.

  • @sagsan2012 do you sign 'sagsan...'? Itemembers me 'satsang' a term referred to holy men meeting together to discuss/sharing spirirual experiences/techings. Huuum...

  • @sinoples and you may have read Vedas..and may call them as science..I have not read those..and hence cant comment..but you cannot say that only Vedas are correct and the others are not..If our Vedas are correct, then so is The holy Quran..and The Bible..and all the other holy books humanity has ever produced..for these are those books which create good men..without these books, men would have acted like beasts..teachings may change according to the time in which these books were written

  • @sagsan2012 I do not say the are 'correct' the Vedas but......they look more appropiate, complet, accurate and convenient in describing all human/spiritual aspects. Is enough tto read the Bhagavat-Gita (an extremely brief resume) to feel this completeness. Besides, we know well their origin, incomparable one!

  • @sagsan2012 Recollecting my memories...yes, Vedas..... are called Science, becasue proved by inner experience, here and now. I remember of course how many atrocities men had done in thename of so-called holy spcriptures. While in minor escale some aspects of Vedic teachings served too, such horrors... Human trace !?!

  • @sinoples but the essence is one which is..there is inherent godliness in each creature..being humans, what we can do is to act in such ways which may develop that inner god..so that one day,the human and the inner god becomes one..become two manifestations of the same supreme truth..anyways..Hinduism besides the Vedas also comprises of the Ramayana..and the Mahabharata and the incidences depicted there are allways not scientific..isnt it? I believe WE ARE ALL ONE.NO ONE IS DIFFERENT.

  • @sagsan2012 Is exact; here and now is possible to be 'reunited' with 'God'. And....regarding the exactness of Vedic teachings......well what happen is their religious aspect, prticolary mythology...often it can go astray, as the passing of Shri Lanka by the monkey army. Were evolved primates yes.... but not single leg Hanumans jumping the gulf, not a Ganesha half elephant, half human..a kind of genetic misdeed !?!

  • @strangerlover11 ..so help him know more about Hinduism rather than abusing the great prophet Mohammad(PBUH).he was one of the greatest of men history has ever produced.the number of Muslims worldwide are testimony to his greatness...so abusing the prophet Muhammad(PBUH) is equivalent to abusing the great Ramakrishna himself.Thakur said that-knowledge leads to unity.and ignorance to diversity..just think what you, being a Hindu or a Muslim is doing.is it just to abuse Thakur or Muhammad(PBUH)????

  • @strangerlover11are you aware that Ramkrishna Thakur himself led the life of a devout Muslim?and he found that it too leads to the same allmighty,as does Hinduism.so he gave one of the greatest tenet of modern day-"joto mot toto poth"(there are as many ways as there are views)-there may be numerous ways but each leads to the same allmighty...for any more questions on Hinduism,u may mail me to sagsan2012@gmail.com..will try to answer your question acc to my level of knowledge.Waalekum Assalaam..

  • Fantastic video and so touching.

    THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

  • @vramaness thanks for commenting too . jai thakur

  • Is this a real video or a movie?

  • @tsrikanti just a movie . no real video of ramakrishna exists

  • Comment removed

  • @CassiusChrysanthe its not shakti . it is sakhi . sakhi means confidantes of radha or krishna in vaishnava theology . this was an occasion of holi festival of radha krishna . the song is a gaudiya vaishnava padavali ( same sect as modern hare krishna's are) . such songs are often adressed towards sakhis or female companions of krishna .

  • Thank you very much for this! It is exceedingly beautiful. I am an American, but i feel a great love for India and especially Sri Ramakrishna. I love to read " The Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna" God bless

  • @aTibetanyogi thanks a lot friend . god bless you too . you have found gospel -- the wonderful tresure trove . hari om . jai thakur

  • thinking about PARAMA HAMSA it is a hair standing experience. a imagine takes a tour towards adhyatma and spirituality. one spark of adhyatma is enough until our last breath to live without anything and everything. that changes life.

BEST EXAMPLE IS RAMAKRISHNA PARAMAHAMSA JI

  • halley...while Gurudas was certainly the most famous of the actors of Ramakrishna...there were others who did his role well before Gurudas. I would love to see Jugadebata. Gurudas' wife Molina Debi was Rashmoni in that one.

Is Gurudas still alive, do you know?

  • @shandip oh i have never heard of jugadevata . i dont think that version is available in market any more ! :(

as far as my knowledge goes , gurudas bannerjee is not alive anymore .

  • Dear halley,

Where can i find the cinema sadhak bamakhapa?

  • @alurchop1 im not sure about this one . since i dont have it yet . but hawkers at tarapith must be having some versions . you can also find them sometimes at symphony . but you have to keep hunting .

  • @alurchop1 You can buy both Sadhak Bamakhapa online from Angel Digital Video. As for this movie, it is Jato Math Tato Path starring Gurudas Bannerjee as Ramakrishna. The music is by Manabendra Mukherjee and the playback was done mostly by Dhananjay Bhattacharya who is singing in this clip. The movie was made in 1975 although this is in B and W. You can also buy this online from Simindia.com

@Halley: Do you have a source for these movies. There are other similar movies I want to buy.

  • @shandip thanks for providing that lovely info . well i live in calcutta so its not difficult for me to get the movies . normally i scour the esplande music shop 'symphony' and grab whatever good stuff comes my way . i did not know that they are also available online !! thanks for that input shandip . god bless . take care

  • @alurchop1 hi chop . thanks for the friend request . well its not hard if you live in calcutta . try out at symphony audio cassette shop at esplanade or the streetside audio cd hawkers near belur math . ask for ramakrishna film of gurudas bandapadhyay . he is the the one acting in the lead role and was famous for his depiction of thakur . god bless . private message me if necessary . take care .

  • Please send me eMail when done with uploading the movie. If this movie is available for sale, please let me know, I might as well buy it. What is the name of the movie ?
