Check out "thenewboston" channel, all of his videos are here on youtube but Youtube allow revenue sharing so he gets a profit like that. Yes, for use in electronic music. You can mix two synthesizers and play them simultaneously by MIDI. Ring-mods are often used for electronic music, although are not standard devices, like voltage-controlled filters, for instance.

Very interesting, I never built a ring modulator and only know it from radio High Frequency theory. Are you going to mix audio with it ?
