His problem is that he was never shown how to manage the awesome power in his hands and that he tends to engage in wrestle wars that don't seem to get him anywhere and deplete his stamina. But just like his mentor Coleman, the turning point of MMA's more well rounded styles coupled with numerous injuries were his ultimate downfall. His striking was so so, his submissions were nada and his endurance was inconsistent between fights. His takedowns were legendary and his ground and pound and top control was on point. Damn I miss the monster.

For a somewhat smallish heavyweight, Kevin had his powerful wrestling and amazing athleticism going for him at the prime of his career. But just like his mentor Coleman, the turning point of MMA's more well rounded styles coupled with numerous injuries were his ultimate downfall. His striking was so so, his submissions were nada and his endurance was inconsistent between fights. His takedowns were legendary and his ground and pound and top control was on point. Damn I miss the monster.

I respectfully agree with your comment. But I wasn't looking at the numbers. I just threw that out there. Randleman is a specimen. If you look at his career and whom he has beaten; Cro Cop, Rua, Maurice smith, Rampage, etc. He has or had the potential to be better than he was in his losses. As we watch randleman we can tell that when he wants to REALLY fight there are very few people that can mess with him.

Kevin "The Monster" Randleman is my favorite fighter of all-time. But, no, I do not consider him a HOF. I agree, Ray Charles, Steveie Wonder, and Helen Keller could of told you that Randleman beat Bas Rutten. But, losses to guys like Ron Waterman, Nakumara, and his last two keep him a notch or two below HOF status. To me, the only guys who should be in an MMA HOF at this time are, Royce Gracie, Ken Shamrock, and Frank Shamrock. Everyone else is still active.

HOF should be a pretty exclusive club to me. Dan was pretty good but he loss to both Gracie and Shamrock. I don't count the rematch with Shamrock because of the bullshit no "closed fist" rule whic Shamrock obided and Severn did not. Why does Anderson Silva, who is on a 10 or 11 fight win streak and has cleared out 185, have to beat Machida to be in the HOF? If Silva retires today, he is a first ballot HOF.

Yeah i really agree with u on that. Kevin Randleman does have a lot of losses, but he fought his fair share of great fighters. Bas Rutten, Pedro Rizzo, Couture, Liddell, Babalu, Rampage, CroCop, Shogun and even Fedor!! This just goes to show that u can never take Randleman lightly. Kevin was the UFC HW Champion for a few seasons.. He was a beast, the strenght and speed / explosivness was beyong anyone else. Likewise to Crocop, They have had their prime. Kevin wouldnt have much today against Lesnar who is in his prime. Ofcourse, but if both were at their prime, I would bet my money on Randleman, Lesnar seems slowmotion if you compare.
