@pimpinpenz well i can do $25 with shipping but im taking a risk because i need a camcorder and im going to see if i can fix it my self if im lucky or ill just keep it to play around with. also im in toronto so it should be cheap to ship in canada
@exmarkmetroguy yeah it really is an amazing camera and i cant just let it go to waste after i get it fixed i guess ill do a review on it. I know what the issue is as i took it apart and i just got it back together the ribbon cable coming from the cameras motherboard to the screen is messed cause if you move it a certain way the whole screen shuts off and im 100% sure it isnt the screen i went as far as was comfortable with taking it apart and i dont want to go any further ill let a pro do it
@pimpinpenz We actually just have a cheap HDV189 Jazz hd camera that we got from Crappy Tires! lol It's been an awesome camera though, we are looking for another one, but they don't sell that one anymore. We have a good hd camera that we are scared of wrecking, it's a Sanyo Xacti, awesome picture. I guess we use the gopro for lots of our stuff too.
@cubbeezx yeah my plan was to keep this one good as i can and in the video you can tell its still in great shape. i wasnt planning on telling anyone this but on my birthday im getting a flip mino hd camcorder i was going to start using it and see if anyone noticed any difference but now its going to be hard to do eh. and i seen those jazz hd camcorders before they look decent and what model of xacti do you have?
@pimpinpenz Had to look...it's an Xacti HD2000. Will do 1080p and 60fps. We like it, the only thing that could be better is the stabilization. You have to be pretty steady if you are zoomed right in.
@cubbeezx looks just like an HD1010 those are amazing camcorders! Nice camera i want to see some vids with it man just dont take it with you offroading eh!
I use nearly the same camera. Mine has been broken for a couple years. It wont flip the the video when I flip the screen so I can see it from the front. It's an inconvenients, but I still use it lol
@outdoorsman310 well its more complicated than that! it also affects the laser touch sensor buttons cause like a wire or something inside is broken or a sensor or something
