These videos don't work because each utorrent case is unique and requires something different from everybody. If you did this then your files are corrupt and to return them to normal open run and type "%appdata%.Then utorrent and delete settings.dat and settings.dat.old. Congratulations you just fixed yourself.

Hey youtubers i had the same problem as all of you guys but......i found a solution that realy works i swer follow these steps:

1.download cheat engine 5.5

2.(open it)there should be a box in the very top left corner

3.click it and scroll down to utorrent

4.click utorrent and click speed hack in the right (right middle)

5.press in 0.1 (MUST BE 0.1 OR WONT WORK)

6.ENJOY VERY FAST DOWNLOADS

i have the settings for utorrent 1.8.1 which makes my speed really increase but not until 100kb/s though.

i wanted to make a video tutorial but,forget about it.

go to preferences.

ignore ALL except connection setting

change the port to 45682

then go to bandwidth where maximum upload rate is 70(increases speed of upload and download).

Number of global connections,change it to 1890.the below numbers are 2329 and 14.

Lastly,in queing setting,

change the numbers to 60,63.thats it

internet connections are usually expressed in MBits, so 1 MByte = 8Mbits

your connection is very close to its maximum, so consider yourself lucky

This really won't change much. I changed all of my settings, forwarded the port, and I'm still downloading my file at 42.0kbps. The only trick there is to get uTorrent to go faster is to make sure people are seeding, and when you're done downloading something, keep it seeding for a couple of days. With a high amount of seeders and a low amount of leechers/peers, I've reached up to 300kbps.

oh 1 more thing, settings varry on their speed, u should do a speed test to see which settings work best for u. Also some ISPs are putting limits on torrents to help prevent piracy so even though u have very fast internet it wont matter on torrents. Anouther thing that affects speed is how many seeds and peers there are.

If this doesnt help you make sure the port he sugested is forwarded, if you don't know how to forward ports just do a search in google and you will find tons of good instructions about it.

Also if you are only downloading 1 torrent at a time then have the upload speed set to a max of 65kb/s isn't going to help, try setting it to about 3 (it wont chew up your bandwidth as much).

Please, understand what you are doing:

the only thing that you can do is go to the connection tab and put a number greather or equal to 6, and the download number 0 (for unlimited speed)

Tweaking the other things is just to give a personal touch (of course, put more than one connection to each torrent, lol)

I don't know what you can do with advanced settings.

The real and only trick to get speed is that all of us share and seed!!

OMFG you morons ! you have no fucking clue! Okay here's a tip that works, to ya'll newbies. Everybody knows this, but incase you don't. When you have upload on "unlimited" it'll eat your entire bandwidth, so try turning that down if you have low speed internet. Some trackers though don't like "leechers" so you'll have to upload alittle... to all the newbies.
