while these 3rd party sim cockpits are pretty cool, the one draw back is that the sim-addict won't always be using standard off-the-shelf pedals and would more likely opt to using ones from say Frex, or Nixim, and thus the pedal shelf won't provide a useful base for such pedals..

I saw the reach for clutch too. Does anyone know how long Mika Salo had to practice on that? Because he looks pretty good, taking the final turn of Sebring right out wide with no wheel spin or anything. Sometimes it's difficult to adapt to video games but I guess this speaks volumes for Forza as a driving game.

No, forza has an option to like multiple boxes through the ethernet connection, you need to have 3 boxes, 3 copies of forza, and the patience to set it up.

yes, I know, the xboxes use the lan to communicate with eachother, each xbox has it's own tv and shows a part of the picture. like 3 boxes working as one.

It's a paddle shift. You can see Mika shifting but the sound is a couple seconds off.

in the game you can chose manual or automatic, since he drives a ferrari f430 he uses a stick instead of paddle shifters that the LMP cars use.
