I'd always known Julie Andrews was an enchanting actress, but this is the first time that I've truly appreciated Christopher Plummer's talent. The contrast between Captain Von Trappe and Norman is so hilarious...makes you wonder how the captain would have turned out 60 years into the future. ^_^
Thank you so much for sharing. I am amused to see Julie and Christopher together after the sound of music. The perfect screen couple do helps us growing tenderly in age. It is a delicious treat to see them together and anyhow...forever.
Hepburn and Fonda are a tough act to follow, but Julie and Chris did a good job. Chris is good at playing a "grumpy old man" LOL and Julie was as charming as ever!
This movie was so adorable! I wish it had gone on forever and ever!
