Very unmarked. 3 very visible antennas mounted on the trunk, Large numbers NE 4303 on the back and smaller same numbers on the front. A reflective tape around the car. Huge spot lights on each side above the side mirrors. Not to mention that it is a Chevrolet Impala that is used by Police in US very often with the front bar. Unless most of US cars look like this, it is an unmarked Police car indeed :) So if it does not say Police on the car, it becomes unmarked? I do not see the point of this.

You are incorrect about the Cadet and PSR units. The do have red and blues now, since people would drive around them when they had ambers and were doing traffic control. They do not have a siren however.

@NYSP22DAVID No, the impala will be used for civillian sales, any cop who drives or drove an impala (including me) would tell you the impala is a piece of crap. the only thing its good for is the gas milege and traction in winter weather.

Yes the NE refers to North East area and the only reason that they would have the lights on would because they needed to be visible in a traffic situation, not to make a stop . Usually the only commissioned officers that drive these are LD units.

Its not a (un-marked) because it has a NE vehicle number on it . It is a cadet and PSR vehicle dumb ass.

If I am not mistaking the NE refers to the vehicle being from the Northeast Area Command. Cadets and PSR vehicles are not authorized to have red and blue lights as they are not commissioned officers. Plus I have seen many officers in Impalas just like this.
