@eliasp9339eagle71 You never ever need to use auto attempt if you know how to listen for when the tumblers are going to stick. It's so easy I can literally do it with my eyes closed without ever breaking the pick.
I don't even have to add lock picking as a major skill. I've gotten used to lock picking; I usually bring 1 or 2 lock picks with me to make it more realistic. The key to lock picking is that you need to watch the tumbler's speed at which it goes up. When it's at it's slowest, you can secure the tumbler with ease. So hit it a few times and you can notice a pattern. Take your time with each tumbler; find the pattern, secure it when it's slow, and move on to the next.

The tumbler makes a doulbe clcik sound when it is going to stick. Can get into any lock with only a lvl 1 security skill and one lockpick.
