If the original song was so unremarkable, why would they bother copying it? Some people like this version, some people like the original. It's a matter of opinion.

And there's nothing wrong with copying a song, but I think giving credit to the original composer and artist isn't too much to ask. Wierd Al would never dream of remaking a song without obtaining a copyright, would he? Something Pritam doesn't bother with, which is the real reason people are annoyed about this.
