We got a few of these Allertronic AL types somewhere in South East Wisconsin. I like the tone on them. They sound like a 12 port siren. Mods are too high pitched (they sound like a toy, lol).

Only thing I'd prefer on these would be a louder wind up tone.

Modulators aren't as high pitched as an EOWS* but the EOWS* will wipe the floor with any electronic siren. :p Personally i don't like ASC too much or their electronic sirens, they sound a bit like ATI's from a way off.

I have no idea why they did stop making them as front-line products. I hear you can get them on special order but then again that's Federal for you. some were apparently installed in like 2003-2004, so it wasn't exactly long ago they were put to special order.
