I think that by the time Pat composed this, he was living in Rio,in love with a Brazilian girl. I'm not living in Rio and don't have a Brazilian girl, but when I played this song I can definitely imagine both things, and then it is by no means difficult!
Not very well done but it is me playing the solo, I´ve just recorded it previously with no edits(that´s why half of it is really different!). My problem to do it on the video was having to change guitars, since it doesn´t sound right on the acoustic one.
Great job - I can see that this guy, just like Pat is so relaxed in his arms - Now he just need to go form his own band and write his own material !! good luck !

Well, this turned out to be a very didactic and funny video.
I totally agree with you. This is a song with a lot of rythm and positive energy. The bossa beat helps this aid.
