  • i think your are so pretty. your face is so perfect. i love you accent. thanks for sharing this vid with us. you know, not just what you eat has an impact on your skin. its also has alot to do with your hormones. and some people are also stressed out a lot and that makes your face break out too. i know i used to be so stressed out in the past and kinda still am so thats what makes me break out a lot more then anything. also has to do with what products you use. thanks for the vid.

  • Hormones make a huge difference in your skin's oil production and thereby acne, and have nothing to do with your diet. Of course eating well is good for you, but girls shouldn't blame themselves if their skin is bad. That's how eating disorders develop. :\

  • yes pores can open and close. steaming/hot air causes them to open.

  • malikaaa5: no pores do not open and close, they do not have muscle. instead they soften and harden.

  • pores do open.

  • ajacobmind: no they do not. they are NOT muscles therefore they can not open or close.

  • i agree with you

  • @jepowelldotcom your technically right they harden and soften

  • Your skin is gorgeous!

  • how many indians do you know?? racist comments should be strictly condemned..

  • ummm. you're an idiot. clearly you don't know enough indians.

  • Really? Muslim Indians ruled over the Mughal Empire in India and were the wealthiest people in the world. Learn your history and open your mind.

  • This comment is towards katiemce13 btw. :)

  • its really important to clean your face in the morning as well because all the dirt comes out of the pores at night while you're a sleep.

  • I think so too, but she seems to have lovely skin, so whatever works right?

  • hey..THANK YOU for the advice about using toner immediatly! i usually cleanse and then wait hours and then tone before i apply makeup but i am going to do what you say!! i would suggest the a toner from a health food store..I have done my research..thayers or alba come to mind and are really good...they will not strip oil and are alcohol free, the clinique toners have too much alcohol..natural grain alcohol is good but not alcohol denat.and it is the second or third ingredient

  • just watched your video and the best thing you said is WATER is the best thing for your skin

  • i love your accent you sound so sweet god bless

  • wer can we buy queen or st helen mint jelupe masque?

  • hi girl! :) wer can u buy black soap? m from philippines...

  • "St. Helen's Mint Jelupe Masque"- da best ever! It truely is cheap, and u can find it anywhere. Many people i watch on youtube recommends this product, so i tried it, and never regreted it! If u want nice skin, TRY THIS, makes ur skin feel like magic!!

  • hey there...are u indian?? i am! im wondering what you would recommend for very dry skin?? thats wut i have.. thanks!!!

  • great video , cheers from melbourne australia .

  • Have you ever heard of dermalogica products?

  • GO TO smileformakeup

I ONLY HAVE ONE VIDEO SO FAR BUT IF I GET ALOT OF VIEWS/REQUESTS ILL DEFF KEEP THEM COMMING!

    THANKS<3!

  • Bliss Spa Steep Clean. The best!

  • Also, xnaughtypeoplesx, If i were you, instead of spot treating with the vinegar, i would apply it along your t-zone as you would toner, it should help to cut down on the oil. There are not any products i would recommend that are not natural. If after getting the oil under control, your skin seems a bit dry, i recommend using shea butter. It moisturizes dry skin, softens lines, and WILL NOT clog pores! Good luck to you

  • P.S. EVERYONE

Echinecea + Goldenseal are NATURAL antibiodics taken to combat the bacteria internally coupled with Apple cider vinegar for topical use have proven themselves to be excellent in the fight against cystic acne!

    GOOD LUCK to ALL

  • mump4 is right-Apple Cider Vinegar does work. Lavender and olive oil are also good for your skin.

    :D

  • Thanks for the back up. Natural is the way to go. Yes, olive oil is great for the skin. That's why castile soap is so great.

Our bodies were never meant to ingest harsh chemicals not by eating them or by taking them in through our pores!

  • hey!! u seem to know a lot about natural skin care! what products would you recommend for me. i have oily/combination skin and it is acne prone. my chin, my nose, the area around it and the center of my forehead is exceptionally oily. i have spots in the center of my forehead, cheeks and chin! my doctor told me i have mild/moderate acne. why products/brand do you recommend i use (providing i haven't already tried it) x :D thanks soo much.

  • Hey, xnaughtpeoplesx.

Again, Black soap is awesome, it can also be purchased with anti bacterial properties. Black soap is a natural exfoiliant as well as being full of natural ingredients to heal your skin of a host of issues, acne included. The apple cider vinegar is a natural acne fighter, it contains the same ingredient that is the active ingredient in non natural treatments- What you are describing is an oily t-zone. Both products mentioned should help you.

  • Try a toner- u got to have toner, maybe even with astrigent if ur acne is bad. And queen helene mint julupe masque- AmAzInG, its real good for skin. Ohhh...black soap aye, I might try that...and apple cider vinegar? How come i keep hearing about apple cider vinegar, i might have to try that out one of these days..... G luck, and p.s. I have the same skin prob- exactly that you have...

  • thank you!

  • YOUR WELCOME!

  • For those without the opportunity to visit a dermatologist. Apple cider vinegar applied with a cotton ball treats acne AND cystic acne. Spot treat. Cost? About $1.50 at your local supermarket for a bottle that can last up to a YEAR!!

  • really? cool i thought it was a myth..i have prblem spots ill try that...does it by any chance take the redness away?

  • Nope, not a myth, I have been toxin free since ceasing to use Tetracycline 4 my cystic acne & switching 2 Apple cider vinegar. You do have 2 be vigilant , & start spot treating as soon as you notice the outbreak. As 4 redness, the redness will go away with the pimple. However if you r speaking about overall facial redness, my guess would be that your skin is reacting 2 the chemicals & dyes added to soap. Try switching to either Black soap or Castile soap. Both natural & r GREAT 4 sensitive skin!

  • you have a nice voice, it soothes me for some reason :)

  • You say it Be or A.

  • Such an adorable accent!

  • I use pure, sweet almond oil on my skin at night, before going to bed. It works wonders for the skin !! It evens out your skin. It isn't oily at all !..Good for people with oily skin. It keeps your skin away from those wrinkles. It clears out your complexion. Its wow :) try using it...

  • I am using Olive Oil on my skin and now my skin is soft and feels moisture restored and it's good for the skin, not an artifical cream

  • I love your nose piercing :) I've been bugging my parents about getting one for so long! Of course they say no :( >:( By the way, great video! :)

  • i agree clean and clear dried up my entire face, so i use nivea

  • Palmer's Olive Butter Formula- Organic Therapy for healthy skin- Extra virgin olive oil.i think is for body only not for face..

  • I use the cocoa butter formula from the same brand on my face. I use a dime size and rub in hands and rub lightly on the face. I love it! It smells so good and helps to fade acne scarring. I haven't had a breakout because of it.

  • Important Tip!

A lot of young people wonder why their skin is bad. I asked a young bride-to-be about her sheets and pillowcase? Were they clean and changed frequently? She was embarrassed to admit that her sheets were filthy, and may be the very reason why her skin, especially on her back, was bad. My BFF finally cured her bad skin condition when she would change her pillow case every other day and flipping it each night....she kept a stash of clean ones next to the bed. good luck!

  • yeah thanks. I mean it's common sense but we tend to ignore it.

  • youre 24!

  • hi! loved your video!

but i should say that you are missing one important thing - the sunscreen!

    xoxo

  • She's cleaning it at night so a sunscreen isn't needed. In the AM you would wash and add the sunscreen

  • You're right. Sunscreen is always important. But she's using differin which increases sundamage, so sunscreen is even more necessary.

  • are u east indian?

  • yes she is.

  • Hey what cream and cleanser did you used when you was 18?

  • ur gorgous =]

  • Doesnt the olive oil cream make you break out?

  • you know benzoil 10% is to grying and irritating

u should get 2.5% .. is the same thing same results

  • yur skin is really clean

  • ohh...I use some of these products too...:P

  • Have you been told that you look like Roselyn Sanchez? (I think that's her name). Anyways, I love your videos :)

  • hi girl i have to say your really beautiful

i live in europe the netherlands,so i don't know where i can get your products here

like the soap bar en differn and biore

  • where should i find pure lux soap

  • where should i find the pure lux soap

  • best skin care products are revitol, Emrix(.)com has them with the 90 day guarantee...acne, wrinkles, cellulite treatment and more..

  • Thanks for this video :) I actually have half the stuff you have in your routine but listening to what you said, I realized I was using them wrong. Your advise really helped.

  • I love you! This stuff is perfect for a teen like me who doesn't really know much about facial cleansing. i love how you use smarts with your products. like knowing when to use warm water to open pores... nice :D

  • thank u i will start tonight lol. you do have beautiful skin and teeth and i have watched alot of your videos and i must say they are extremely helpful.

  • hi

does the pureluxe soap u use remove all ur makeup?? all the foundation and stuff?

  • are you Indian? Gujarathi perhaps?

  • I am also a big fan of St.Ives apricot scrub! Who knows if it's really from Switzerland LOL. The medicated version is also really nice since it has a tingly effect...

  • OMG big pretty eyes:)

  • thanks a lot for the advices.i did not wash my face in the morning for like two week and now my skin is really nice and soft.....thanks again♥

  • Functional Aging means wisdom when

"We put life into our years, not years into our lives" .

Check my profile for my website . Let me help you delay your aging process.

  • Oh my! A Differin Gel user! I swear by this gel, it never irritates me or makes me red and heals my blemishes in an instant! I use about half of the items on your list! You've got gorgeous skin!

  • I must say you have beautiful skin!

    I'm a 22 year old Indian lady.

I suffer from uneven skin tone around my mouth area. Plus, I have many whiteheads and blemishes on forehead along with scars! I have combination skin.

    Anyone got any tips?

  • At home products will do minimal to your scars. I would recommend having series of med depth chemical peels or laser resurfacing... I perform chemical peels very often on my clients, they may be an "older" technology but they are superb.

  • me too. I would like to know the answer for blemishes.

  • man, i love it *-*

thank you girl *-* you're right to clen your skin at night, i never thought about it. o.o

    HAHAHAHAHAH thank you :)

  • u look like vanessa hudgens :)

  • I CANT use clinique's step 2, it contains alcohol and my skin wake up the day after completely red.... :S but is a great product if you don't have that kind of skin problems

  • You have beautiful skin but Palmer's Olive Butter Formula is so far from being organic. I don't know if you care about chemicals in skin care or not. If you do then why not try using pure extra virgin olive oil and the oil cleansing method with sweet almond oil to clean out your pores.

  • hey girls...i just wanted to share my trick...

i used to have pimples and so...but my skin looks very good now...:

i also wash my skin at night, before sleeping...i use a cleansing milk and brush my skin with a toothbrush..(IT HELPS!!)...and i use a toner...

and afterwards i put on olive oil..very lightly...just like a toner. olive oil gives u a crazy glow...im really satisfied with it..i think EVERYBODY should try olive oil ..atleast once...but dont put on too much ofcourse! ;)

  • Hey thanks a lot for sharing your tip :) I do agree that olive oil is so beneficial in so many ways, it amazes me.

  • what kind of cleansing milk ? Like normal milk we use ? or Some special lotion ? I have very oily acne prone skin !

  • hi, can u plzz suggest me a good foundation and concelar...!! actually my skin very senstive and dry...!!i m a indian gal...and i dont have any idea abt the beauty product. plzz help me which foundation, concelar, is suitable for me??

  • I'm pretty happy with my Neutrogena one, but thanks for the tip. I will keep it in mind.

  • nam a really good product for black heads cos thats a real issue for me plezz tahnks!!

    lov ur vids xx

  • Does that blackhead scrub from biore really work on blackheads? I've tried their clearing strips and it didn't work so I was wondering...

  • This is very helpful for me, as I also have the redness you were talking about. I have one question: Everyone says you should apply SPF in the morning. I know it is in most foundations, but what if you're not wearing make-up that day? What say you?

  • I say to get a moisturiser that has spf, cause you should never leave a house without moisturising your face and spf. Its more important then makeup:)

  • I do do that now, but if you don't clean your face in the morning, should you still go ahead and apply the moisturizer?

I clean my face in the morning and then apply the SPF moisturizer. But I was going to try cleaning it just at night to see what happens. Should I go ahead and apply the moisturizer without cleaning first?

  • I say just wash it with plain water and then apply your moisturizer in the morning if you will be doing a night routine like me.

  • Ok, I will try it. Thank you!

  • very informative. its giving me motivation to make an effort to look after my skin especially before goin to sleep! excellent video

  • very informative you are so beautiful! your skin looks flawless girl!

  • ur rely good, i use st.ives n clinique moisturiser as well but i use the gel one coz the other 1 stings my skin i have real sensitive skin n i used only b able 2 use la roche posay products but i think its becoming a lil more tolerant

  • i use st ives apricot scrub for sensitive skin everyday...is that too much because if i dont i start getting acne break out. Thats what i have found anyway....

  • What ever routine works for you stick to it, cause everyone has a different skin and its needs:)

  • I love Arbonne!

  • omg i know... i love differin i use the one with 0.1 adapalene.... but yes i do get it through prescrition and costs about 10 dollars even though i have kaiser insurance becasue without insurance it would be 20 here in cali... they way i get it is by calling the refill phone line of kaiser, and order it then pick it up next day... you dont really to go to the doctor and check up and that everytime u need one!!! so yes i luv ur vids.. later!!!

  • You are so pretty :) Gorgeous skin and teeth

  • elevensmiles no she said the toner closes the pores not open...

  • OM-GOSH , you look lime jordin sparks !!!

  • hi my skin is going darker and darker can help make it fair

  • Wear sunscreen and a hat, especially if you spend a lot of time outside. Other than that though, you can't do much to "lighten" your skin, especially if its hereditary darkening (like mine was).

My advice is to embrace your skintone and to take care of your complexion. Your skintone is irrelevant and has nothing to do with how physically attractive you are. You can improve your overall appearance by looking after your skin and adopting better hygiene practices, so you get that healthy glow. =)

  • Hey what do you guys do when your skin goes to extremes????

I have so much trouble buying foundation.

In the summer I tan up rapidly and the winter I look so pale.

  • get the gradual tanning lotion and mix it 1/2 and 1/2 with your foundation and get a bronzer to use as a powder

(use the gradual tanner on ur body as well so you don't get a two tone lol)

  • differin sooooooooo gooood i use 2 get mines by RX but i ended up being it online w/o perscription.(not horribly pricey but pricey since its a RX)but watever :P but if u want da website let me know...LUV UR VIDS

  • Great video girl. I read that it is more effective to tone and moisturize up to 3 minutes after u wash ur face. Your face absorbs more during that time.

  • U are really cool and u like to use a lot products that acully work on face and areas. so keep on making cool videos and help other girls get better face materials.

  • how old are you?

  • She said in this video that she's 24

  • does the calamine soap car cleanse well like does it cleanse away any blackheads and all that junk that lies in your pores?

  • Nope. Like I said its more of a soothing bar to cleanse mildly and reduce redeness.

  • Black soap

  • Thanks so much for posting this -- I was one of the people who asked :)

I have some of those products. The persagel did nothing for me (benzoyl peroxide has never worked on me ) but I love the St. Ive's scrub - I use the medicated version. It's one of the few non-natural products I use. I'm intrigued to try the Pure Luxe bar but I wish it didn't have emu oil in it since I'm vegetarian and don't use animal products. Maybe I can beg them to make a vegetarian version. hehe.

  • You could try either Black soap (real not the commercial version) or Castile soap. Both are all natural and fantastic for sensitive skin. Black soap is a natural exfoiliant, as well as being good for treating problem skin. Castile soap is extremely calming to the skin as well as leaving it incredibly moistened and soft. Safe enough for a baby!

  • What is Black soap and where can you get it? Ah, I need a skin care routine and I want to make sure that I'm not killing my skin with all of this shit that's out there today.

  • thank you thank you thank you ally!!!

  • i think it's pronounced as /byuree/

  • omg aly

lol i totally agree with the whole take off the first layer of your skind part.that explains why my skin feels so dry and tight afeter usuing aprocot scrub everyday!! haha thanks your great

  • is the clinique clarifying stuff really good?

  • Its good but nothing magical about it in my opinion:)

  • Yeah it really cleans your skin I use the whole clinique 3-step skincare it's sooo good =]!!

  • I think the main secret of your pretty skin is having a normal skin. Mine is oily and I still have problems at the age of thirty. I used to treat my skin with mattifying products but at the age of 25 i gave it up. I cleanse ,use peelings and face masks and i moisturize for day & night .I also change creams, i mean i use about six creams. The good point is i have no wrinkles ... but i always have to have foundation & powder on.

  • no eye cream? lol

  • Im allergic to Benzoyl Peroxide :(

It's hard to find acne medecine without it. Even Proactive has it.

  • There are so many good products out now with just salicylic acid and no benzoyl peroxide in them. Neutragena is one brand and Clean & Clear. Take another look, you'll be surprised. Neutrogena makes an acne treatment called Rapid Clear that work unbelievely well. My daughter used to use ProActive, but she switched to the salicylic acid products and her skin became noticably clearer in 1 month. Good luck.

  • Im allergic to Benzoyl Peroxide :(

  • I have the same problem. I used Retin-A Micro instead. It made my skin peel slightly, but it worked for my acne.

  • thanks for the tips...

  • Thank you, this video has been really helpful :)

I have such horrid skin :(

  • youre so right about the water....it helps not only with your skin but with SO much else

  • I use Differn to lighten my dark spots that I get from pimples, I actually use Delacin T Solution for pimples .. it is amazing I highly recommend you get it, I don't have to get a prescription to buy it, dunno about the US.. but I think you should ask your skin dr. about it ;)

  • I do pretty much the same sort of thing, do the majority of my skincare routine at night. In the morning I normally just use wet wipes and moisterise with Olay complete care. It has an spf of 15 and has vitamins in. I'm kinda like you with not wanting a hugely complicated skincare routine, but at almost 30 I guess I should. I do get a lot of people telling me I look younger than I am and asking what do I use so I guess my routine works. :D

  • if the toner is too harsh for your skin wet the cotton pad with water before u put the toner on it it will just dilute it a bit but still do the same job

  • You should at least put cream/moistrizer on during the day that will protect you from the pollution.

Because yeah sure you take it off at night, but ur just welcoming the aging process faster if you dont.

  • Oh for the day I do wear my spf cream, sorry to mention that:)

  • the only thing i really used on my face growing up was noxzema and i have great skin today because of it. i still use it now, but not as frequently... i actually just bought some the other day, but i want to get into something a bit more moisturizing. i think i'll try out that palmer's stuff. sounds good!

  • i use the clinique toner as well and it's so drying! i had to cut back on that... actually i haven't used that stuff in weeks. you're lucky to have good skin. i didn't do anything to my face as a teen and i still broke out.

  • aww i had the same problem witht e clinique line i ended uop returning it because it seriously screwed my face up:(

  • ♥♥♥Thanks!!! I LOVE ALL YOUR VIDEOS!!! Your SO VERY HELPFUL♥♥♥

  • Baking Soda (sodium bicarbonate) works as a good exfoliator. You'll find it in the baking aisle. :-)

  • can u use that on the face!

  • I used that on my face, it got really really bad. I would suggest use with precaution like test certain area everyday and see how it goes for you. I hope this helps. I have very oily acne prone skin.

  • wow thanks

  • When do you use ur exfoliator?? at night or in the morning? and after cleanser or do you not use cleanser and toner at all when you exfoliate??? thanks in advance.

    You're videos are awesome!!!!

  • I exfoliate whenever I get time during that day:) I exfoliate, cleanse with a mild soap and then moisturize. I skip toner when I exfoliate.

  • ah finally!!

thank you so much for finally doing a tutorial for your skincare routine!

    you have GREAT skin!

and let me just say that i hope you never stop posting videos!!

i would miss them terribly lol.

    thanks again!

    =)

  • oh, forgot to add that I love Queen Helene's Mint scrub (from Sally's, or Walgreens, Rite-Aid, etc.)... St. Ives was just waaaaaay too harsh for me, and I love the minty fragrance to the Helene scrub

  • lol 24? you look 20 :) no more

  • Hi, great video as usual and thanks for posting this video. I was one of many I am sure that requested a skin care video from you so it is nice to see, woohoo! When you get a chance would you consider doing a tutorial on how you clean your makeup brushes?

  • I have to say, my mother never used anything on her skin, just lukewarm water and she never had a skin blemish in her entire life. I on the other hand inherited blackheads from someone in my family. bah! You have great skin and I would recommend Clinique to anyone.

Oh, my mother also didn't eat anything but fish and vegetables and occasionally chicken.

  • clinique toner is too hash for me also, I use avalon organic Q10 toner...if u can get pass the smell of lavender, it's a great mild toner...another great, but expensive toner is the japanese brand DHC..
