Favorite movie. Favorite car. The hood screams get the FUCK out of my way. And the LS-6 version of this beast could push you out of the way if it so desired. At 450 HP, it was under-rated for ins. reasons. I was lucky enough to at least find a '70SS396/375 HP. The door on the hood is controlled by a switch under the gas pedal, and when pressed far enough, lifts it by vacuum, giving it a little breath of cool air.

I grew up in this era and there seems to be a Wooderson in everyones past. A dude who was like 25 and still hanging out with the 18 year olds. I knew of such a person in my town he was almost a spot-on clone of Wooderson. He had a job working for the city cutting trees or some such thing, he still lived at home had a nice trans Am or Camaro, was even a blonde...smoked alot of cigs and reeked of English Leather after shave (remember English Leather?)....was always after the young chicks

I love these kinda movies. The kind that document a particular night in a kids life. It's fun to see how my parents grew up. Shame though that my kids will look at superbad and think that was my life. Im cooler than that haha if you guys liked this movie check out American graffiti. Same concept, but it's based in the 50's. Classic movie.

@MikeAKATheBoss actually American Graffiti was based on one night in "1962". I can see how you would think it was the 1950s because until The Beatles hit the USA in 1964.....it was still basically the 1950s looks and mentality wise. You are correct.....if you liked "Dazed and Confused" you just have to see "American Graffiti". I really love both movies but cinematically I think American Graffiti was shot better.....better camera angles etc
