Hey, about the hip belt... You got that webbing for your AR-15 sling at...JoAnn Fabric, right? You might be able to get webbing material to match the bag and get some clips. strapworksdotcom has all kinds of those clips and strapping.
OD Green is my color of choice. I am 70% more likely to buy something if it's Olive Green. Lol! OD Green also looks awesome on girls. Love the channel, keep it up!!
@faliaphotography Love the pack, love the channel, love the van, and I love your ideals. I'm very much interested in taking up a similar lifestyle in my truck. Thanks for the inspiration and I look forward to watching more of your vids.
Well done Falia! Looks like a great bag. I like that the sholder strap can be long enough that you can cross carry. Do you find it tough to access you M&P? You mentioned that you'd like to see a waist strap. Does it flop around on you? Just curious. Thumbs up!
It's not too tough to access, although it is a little tougher than with my "Gun Toten' Mamas" gun purse. No, It doesn't seem to flop around, I just like that feeling of a waist belt. lol. Extra secure feeling I guess.
I would be happy to help you, why don't you fill out my comment form on my website so we can discuss via email instead of YT comments. go to blog randyphotography com slash contact-me
It's great that you give examples of how real world stuff fits in the gear you review, very helpful! I agree a nicer camera would be cool. I don't mind the video quality so much as the audio, it has a kind of grating sound to it. And no I don't mean your voice, it just sounds like a cheap mic! :) Thanks.
It's true, the audio isn't the greatest. It makes me sound like I have a lisp when I definitely do not :( I would love a better video camera, it is on my list for when funds aren't so tight.
hey falia... another good review. informative as always. I also watched your review about your M&P 9 that you LOVE. You may wish to check out the Taurus 709 "Slim" which is a 9mm ... that is a pistol I like to carry because it is less than an inch wide .. only carry's 7 in the magazine though. So you have to be good with your shot placement ;) ... should fit a small hand good too. Not bad in a medium size hand either. I have a Shooting Stances vid here where I fire it too. Cheers
You got that right, I am so in love with my M&P. I don't know that I ever need another gun now. lol. Will hold the 709 some day, thanks for the recommendation and for watching
so i diddnt know what geocashing was and of course i goggled it. now i want to go out and do that this summer. another hobby yessss. thank you falia oh and nice bag too lol
Another great review from you!! really enjoy your insight! one question...have you tried drawing your gun from that bag? to me it looks like it may be a bit tough, but, i suppose if you got use to it? like to see your method of drawing from that bag when time permits. Have a safe drive!!
drawing from it is a little bit tougher than drawing from my gun purse, just because the gun pouch is alot bigger on this bag. But if you practice enough I'm sure it will be fine
Your camera will not do 720p (or 1080p) but if your about to hit the road why not upgrade to the Canon Powershot ELPH 100 HS (it's 199 on Amazon) It will shoot all the way to 1080p and it has the Image Stabilization although a cheap tripod would do a better job. Uploading video at a passing public library would be your best bet when traveling, keep the videos coming we depend on them now. LOL
Do you know if the ELPH 300 HS is much better than the ELPH 100? Only 50 bucks more, not sure the difference though. I will try to keep the vids coming. lol. And eventually I would like to invest in an even better camera, maybe a dedicated video camera.
If you'll let me know which powershot you have I'll be happy to look it up for you (I'm a photography and video guy randyphotography com ) and for taking the summer off...you better not you do a good job of explaining gear and people like to watch "normal" folk talk about guns as oppose to old school urban commando guys
Also, I will surely try to post as much as I can during the summer.... I am leaving in my van to head south for a month though and it may be hard to upload vids on the road, although I will try. Perhaps my first vlogs!
Very cool review. I haven't heard of this brand until now. And you're right, the pricing is better when compared to other brands made with the same materials. Keep up the good work!
Great review and looks like a nice bag. One thing i would have to disagree with you on: it looks pretty darn tactical to me. also i don't like the design of the zippers on the pistol compartment, because the pulls could be anywhere along the zipper at any time, so you have to add a step to draw your pistol of "figure out where the zipper pulls are", which can add crucial seconds to your draw. compare that to the maxpedition design where the pulls are always in the same place w/ zippers closed
My comment wasn't meant to say less than useful, but less useful as I find your videos a great tool for anyone but especially for women...in saying that I think you would benefit your viewers in providing a better picture so that we can see the details that your eyes see and that would start at 720p...and that was just an opinion didn't mean to hit a nerve ...as I know youtube comments are less than useful most of the time
Less useful is different than "less than useful," which is what you said, and it hit a nerve. ;) and yes, youtube comments are often less-than-useful. I do agree, better picture quality is always good, although my Canon Powershot does take better video than many regular camcorders... It may even have an option to take 720p video, I have no idea. I'm not techinical at all. I will try to look more into it, I just honestly don't even know how much I'll even be online this summer :/
Great job on the review Falia. You really did an outstanding job showing what the bag can carry and the many options you have. I have the Maxpedition Malaga which looks to be very close in size and I also use it for hiking. Thanks so much for sharing and keep up the great work.
I don't think i've seen the Malaga before, I will google it. Thanks for watching, Keelan :) (is that how you spell your name? that is why I never write it, I don't want to spell it wrong)
Great job...nice bag,but does it look a little too military(which is cool, I'm a vet)?Wondering if it would draw too much attention or do so many people carry bags that nobody thinks gun or related equipment . Just saying!
When I see a bag like that, I don't think gun or military. Even more so with the black version. It looks like a daypack, travel bag, or camera bag to me.
Since your releasing videos regularly now you really need to invest in at least a camera that will shoot 720p, the lack of detail in the video makes reviews less than useful
@faliaphotography Keep doing what you are doing and don't listen to people like that. Your incredible attention to detail and insight are extremely valuable to the YT knife, gun and gear community. Keep up the great work.
Liked the ending credit. Since you are very popular and have been doing several videos. I would like to see an opening credit on all of your videos. Something catchy, with music, but very short. 10 to 15 sec. Keep up the great work!
I've thought about it, but I don't have a clue how to make something like that... All i know how to do is barely edit videos on Windows Movie Maker. I'll think about it more for the future, but it isn't in my near-future plans. There is so much on my plate... As always, great review, Falia. Keep this up and you're gonna give Roz a run for her money :) I like the bag itself. Lotta features and great idea on the rolly polly pouch. Been meaning to get one of those!

I've been looking for a better hiking bag than the one I have, a little bigger actually... The bag you're showing would great if it was twice the size.... I'd get that for sure.... Cheers.
