@gfemg Yes and while doing so watch the guy across the street who kept his Lexus still drive his lexus for 20 years+ and you who decided he wanted "quality" lol have to replace his when it blows up LITERALLY in his face!!! lmao Lets just hope your not in the car when it catches on fire and burns to the ground just like all the rest of the GM vehicles... @gfemg wow you just reminded me. I have never, out of all the toyotas i have owned and driven, had a problem with a toyota, however, one day one of my tacomas caught on fire for no apparent reason. It was in a previous crash so im not sure if that had anything to do with it
As a Mercedes Benz S Class owner..I applaud Buick for making such a beautiful car with so many features. To blindly follow a brand is simply stupid. You don't buy a car for one thing..but many. I love my MB..but it is also expensive to buy, maintain, & repair..the Buick is not..& in hard economic times that means something. ALL car brands have issues..none are perfect..so get over it!

@ricksmiths10 Who cares? No one gives a damn what you, personally, would "rather get." Don't bother sharing it here. Go to a Buick dealer, actually "TRY" one of their new cars, and then you can tell them your thoughts; you're opinion might matter then. On second thought, maybe it wouldn't. Buick sales are through the roof right now (Don't believe me, Google it.) .So I'm not even sure if you injected your comments at a Buick dealership that they would care about what you'd "rather get."
@ricksmiths10 Because I gave testimonial based on the facts of my experiences with my two new Buicks vs. my Lexus/BMW, and it's valuable to people who are actually 'on the fence' about which brand they'll potentially buy. You just just threw out a purely subjective opinion, relevant only to you, and offered nothing to substantiate WHY you'd shop a foreign brand over this car. At least if you're going to offer an opinion, offer an opinion with value. No one cares what you "personally" would buy.
@socalguy97 y i would choose a foreign brand over this car? this car is foreign! get ur facts right buddy, this is a vauxhall (Australian) with a buick badge on it! unlike u i actually know about my cars.....but wat more car knowledge can i expect from someone who bought a buick and had a lexus gs....its obvious u know nothing about motorsports and don't take pleasure in your driving.
@ricksmiths10 "GET MY FACTS RIGHT?" "I KNOW ABOUT MY CARS" HAHAH You're an IDIOT!!!! Regal is the Vauxhall...specifically the Opel Insignia. Not the Lacrosse. You're too stupid to have a conversation with...and if I were you, I'd be embarrassed about the videos you have Mr. Motorsport. hahahahaha. You totally demolished any credibility you could have had...what are you??? 16? 18? Go home kid.

@socalguy97 hey dumfuck lacrosse is just as foreign as the regal. the interior of the car was designed by someone in bejing. and the cars interior to this day is manufactured in china.and atleast i have videos not a fake account like urs. made for the sole purpose of trolling around on Buick videos. and as far as credibility goes u shouldnt even be talking, look at ur userid "SOCALGUY97"..."97"...i can garantee 1997 is ur birth year and ur probably around 14..NO WONDER U DONT HAVE ANY VIDEOS
@ricksmiths10 1. Do you care if it's a foreign car? I don't. And you seem to like foreign cars. 2. '97' isn't my birth year, it's the year I graduated high school. 3.I don't work for GM, lol, I just bought two of their cars is all, and I like what I bought 4. I have a career, I don't have time to record and post videos (just reply to them) and 5. your parents need to monitor your Internet usage. Does mom know you're on here cursing and swearing at people??? GET LOST LITTLE KID.
@socalguy97 LMAO "i dont have time to record and post videos"....but somehow u have more then enough time to troll around on buick videos! c'mon now cant u come up with a better excuse?
@ricksmiths10 Oh, I have time to 'respond'--when it's about my car, and I care. Video posting on the other hand? No time, no desire. And I'd recommend doing something more constructive with your time then flip phone recording the dash of your mom (dad, brother, sister's) Honda. Please kid...go away. I'm not sure it's legal for any of us to be having a conversation with a young boy on a public site. Conversation over. Come back when you have a license, a job, a car, and valid opinions. Thank You.
oh and its also funny that ur channel has absolutely no videos on it, so someone would think u like to keep it to yourself but at the same time u have info of where u graduated from and in what.....u seem like someone that would fit into the demographics Buick would want to buy their car. i wouldn't be surprised if u work for Buick and have created this fake account to troll around about Buick.
LOL @ crappy marketing testimonial... You can see that GM is still having money problems. And about the styling, come on... That's a SAAB with a Buick badge and a lot of fake chrome and fake leather.
@razvanand To be honest, I don't see SAAB in this car. My understanding was that this car was built from the ground up to have it's own body style, though I see borrowings from Lexus, BMW, Jag. For the interior, that's totally unique. Haven't seen this interior in any other brand. As far as I know, the only thing borrowed was the epsilon platform from Opel. So technically this car isn't rebadge anything. Also, I don't think GM or Buick are having money trouble. Sales are pretty high now.
This morning I was at a Buick dealership that was closed, but I was able to sit in a 2011 LaCrosse that wasn't locked, and I was VERY impressed. Car was priced at 40 grand...it's a sweet car that I think is a better buy than a Caddy, Lincoln, or Lexus.
LOL. 'Test drove merc&lexus...'. Put Yugo instead of Lacrosse and choosen over that to make this promo even more ridiculous.
Lacrosse is based on a cheap compact Opel Insignia platform which is not far from Corolla class. No matter how did they overextended that poor platform at Buick it is still a cheap compact car platform. Go get Camry first don't even try for Lexus.
The Lacrosse is built on a long wheel base midsize platform. The Epsilon II isn't even remotely compact especially with this application. And if you think the Lexus ES is better than the Buick LaCrosse, you've got to be kidding yourself. Just about every major comparison between the two puts the LaCrosse on top.

@coandcaiv I did. Got rid of my 06 GS for the 2010 CXS. Love it. I wouldn't necessarily call myself a dumb person. I'm an attorney, and a law professor, and my wife is a Dean at USC. Our Lexus caused us enough trouble and discomfort, and the styling was bland in comparison to the Lacrosse. We're quite happy with it. We've owned ours' since Aug '09, not a single problem whatsoever, even after 30k rough miles across the country and in city driving. Been fine for us. We're in our 30's, too.
@coandcaiv At one point in time I would have agreed with you. But Buick seems to have become a REAL car now. We're fine with our purchase. I'd by another. Your opinion is your opinion; my opinion is mine. Nothing was tried and true about my Lexus. As for tried and true, I understand Buick has been around since what, 1904 or something? Lexus since 1989? Lol. Yeah...Lexus...tried and true alright. Lemme show you our service orders from how many times we were in and out of the dealership with it.
Sure it's a good car, sure it's cheaper than the competitors. But overall, the price is much larger with the horrible depreciation on American cars.
Don't get me wrong, the car is very good but unless you've got money to throw away the depreciation will kill you.
Don't beleive me? Look up some Buick's on AutoTrader and you will find some of the newer models(2009+) aren't even near what they were when they were new.
While Mercedes, BMW, Lexus, Hyundai all hold their value very well.
@BullshotProduction As a matter of fact yes. My wife had a Lexus GS, and traded for the CXS. Was more of an upgrade to us, and priced similarly. And I had an '02 325i which I traded for the Regal Turbo. Also priced similarly. Also an upgrade. Granted that was our choice, not the world's choice, but it was a choice nonetheless as we traded out my BMW and her Lexus for the Buicks.
Ohh ho ho .!!!! He tested the Mercedes, the Lexus........... But not the BMW or Audi!!!! HAHAHAHA. No one can beat the Teutonic knights!!!!! EAT THAT!!! ///M power. No one can beat the all conquering 5 series!!! Especially the new one!!!! HAHAHA. This guy is a joke. At least buy an Audi a5.
@edoggy777 you know what bitch ass dont hate on me because your fucking 401K it takeing a turn for the fucking worst grandpa oh and fyi the only reason my words get mispelled is because i am doing this shit on my ipad asshole my porsche yould beat your buick any day fucking cunt
I disagree with you. I'm quite happy with my 2010 CXS, and describing it as a piece of shit is a bit misguided. My Buick hasn't accelerated into anything and injured me, or killed anyone; and that's one of the reasons we traded an '07 Lexus because we were concerned. Oh, and the price was about the same as the comparable Lexus. Affordability wasn't the reason we chose it. Just seemed like a nicer car, and after almost a year, it's proven to in fact be a nicer car than our Lexus was.
fuck off! this video is fake. he is a sales man, why would anyone be so intrested. haha. jaguar, come off it, the jag xf is in a different class compared to this dole wollers car. cheap as fuck and shit as fuck
Just for the record. My wife and I are in our early 30's. No kids. And we're not part of the geriatric crowd. We just traded our 07 Lexus GS 350 for the CXS, and we LOVE it. I'm an attorney, my wife is a professor, we live in L.A, we're not hurting for money, and GM didn't pay us to look at the Buick. Looks sexy. Drives great. Kicks our Lexus into the dust. Resale doesn't mean crap to us. And this car was NOT cheap at $42k. Bigger than the GS, sportier, better styled. No bull. Just honesty!
@etoyotarockshsucks Nah, I don't think we made a mistake. Our GS was in an out of the shop plenty of times. Our 2010 Lacrosse hasn't seen the shop yet less oil changes. We now have around 30k miles on ours, and not a day of trouble. We like the look and feel of the Buick much better than our GS. It's quieter, too. the leather is softer, there's more room, as much acceleration, and overall no complaints. Looks and feels nicer. Our GS annoyed us to no end, and that was NOT our first Lexus either.
Respond to this video...If you want an actual account of how our Lexus performed from '06 through '09, or even '06 through '07, I have service records to validates the problems we had, which were covered by warranty, but were still an annoyance. So, I'm sorry; while I appreciate your opinion, from live experience, I can attest that our Buick has been more solid, reliable and comfortable.
@etoyotarockshsucks We must have had two lemons then because the Lexus RX we had before the GS was no poster child for reliability either. It wasn't bad, it just had it's issues. None with the Buick as of yet.
@socalguy97 our blazzer was made by gm and was total crap. Broke down completely after 85,000 miles. Our highlander hasn't had a single problem yet and the odometer reads 80,000 miles
@etoyotarockshsucks I wish I could say the same for our Lexus (both that we had). They weren't the worst cars we ever had, mechanically speaking, but certainly not what the media has them (and Toyota) cracked up to be. I can't speak to the problems you had with your Chevy since I know nothing about them. Can only say our Buick hasn't had any trouble after one year and 30k on the odometer.
@etoyotarockshsucks Well keep in mind, we've only had the car for a year, and it only has about 30,000 miles on it. I'm not ruling out reliability issues in the future. I can only say that after the first year, ours' is fine. At 85k, who knows, perhaps we will have trouble. As far as the Lexus' we had, again, by no means the worst, but we had our share of reliability issues. One of the reasons, among many, that we bought the Buick is because at some point, it was ranked #1 in reliability.
@socalguy97 i find it rather unprofessional and somewhat stupid to tell what your profession is online....but it is some what relevant to your buick purchase....aka...not very smart :)
@coandcaiv Unfortunately kid, it's people like you with uneducated assumptions, uninformed opinions, lack of facts, and blatant slurs that make it necessary for people like me to have to set the record straight. I know plenty of people with Buicks, professors, dentists, judges,...You aware of the demographics? Older people, usually (now younger people), affluent, educated; usually master's degree or higher, so if that's "not very smart" in your opinion, I'd love to know who is.
@socalguy97 oh cry some more big boy.....get a real car....japanese or a european.....i see no reason to buy a buick over anything at any price....so yeah, im done with your dumb ass ....gg noob
Does BMW count? Because a 3 series is what I traded for the Regal Turbo that I have now. My wife had the Lexus that she traded for the CXS. Still fine with our "utilities."
lol...well to each his own I guess. I don't know what a personality car is unless you're talking about a car that costs six figures or higher, which fewer than 1% of the population owns, and I don't love cars enough to spend money like that on a depreciable piece of metal.
This car is huge and it's got tons of chrome on it, very bad taste... If you want luxury, there are better options: Renault Vel Satis, Peugeot 607, Alfa Romeo 147, SEAT Exeo or at least a Volkswagen Passat
@AdThaDon2k8 None of those cars are available in the US??? Shame on you, that means that you can't get real cars, only japanese and american craps, poor americans :_(
@Turkamel The Passat is the biggest POS! I know that for a fact. I put up with one for 5 years... 59 months too long. I even drove the new one. it sucks too. The Lacrosse runs circles around it with power and sure footedness, and a super quiet cabin. But power and speed is something you Frenchies don't know about. You keep pushing that Renault up the french hill side. And when you get invaded again, you can still give us a call.
This IS NOT your fathers Oldsmobile. GM can take their kudos deservedly for this Buick. I'm an Oldsmobile fanatic (I can always hope GM does it again), and I would buy the Buick. OO-RAH ! All Lexus owners need to UPGRADE to a Buick.
The car is definitely very sexy...That means it is also very feminine. I think it is best suited for women. As a guy, I won't buy one because it will be like driving a minivan since it won't matter how beautiful it is. Tne bottom line is, it is one sexy vehicle for the ladies.
Oh my god I'm tired of all these people talking about resale value. If you are so concerned about getting your money's worth buy a used car for about $5,000 then you aren't paying any depreciation on it. Jesus, buy the car you like who gives a fuck.
What about resale value for your hard earned money? And that car will be a throw away in 10 years or if and when it hits 100,000 miles, while the Lexus is barely broken in at 100 grand and you will be able to recoup more of your money WITH a lot fewer problems.
GM is so desperate that they resort to this propaganda? How embarrassing! I would get a Lexus over a Buick solely based on RESALE VALUE. I hate Jap cars and I used to be a GM loyalist, but after what they did to Saab I can't wait to finally see GM go away (as they continue to mass produce garbage)
There's three different engines in the '10 LaCrosse. The 2.4 L Eco Tech I4, the 3.0 L LF1 and the 3.6 LLT. The Eco Tech was derived from an Opel design and the LF series is derived from the Italy's Alfa Romeo. Same engine is in the '10 Camaro, CTS, Traverse and Enclave. This engine series is extremely reliable and I'm tired of people saying ignorant shit based on the brand of the car. Times Change!
@RnB123100 have you ever heard of the guy or old man i should say that owne an original ls400 and put over 500000k miles on it with regualr maintenance!! tht shit crazy!!
Eloy is a logical consumer that knows a good buy and a great car when he "sees" one. thanks eloy for endorsing the good work Buick has been up to and for telling everyone who asks about it how you really feel!
Well it's obvious why he chose this. It's is such a great car, all around. The interior is better than anything in its class. Lexus, Volvo, Acura or any other entry luxury brand.
And it looks so great on the outside and the inside.
Everyone has their own fit for a car and GM has really stepped up their game since the bailout. 'that said, we'll see which is worth more in 5,10,15, and 20 years.

@socalguy97 hey dumfuck lacrosse is just as foreign as the regal. the interior of the car was designed by someone in bejing. and the cars interior to this day is manufactured in china.and atleast i have videos not a fake account like urs. made for the sole purpose of trolling around on Buick videos. and as far as credibility goes u shouldnt even be talking, look at ur userid "SOCALGUY97"..."97"...i can garantee 1997 is ur birth year and ur probably around 14..NO WONDER U DONT HAVE ANY VIDEOS
ricksmiths10 8 months ago
@ricksmiths10 1. Do you care if it's a foreign car? I don't. And you seem to like foreign cars. 2. '97' isn't my birth year, it's the year I graduated high school. 3.I don't work for GM, lol, I just bought two of their cars is all, and I like what I bought 4. I have a career, I don't have time to record and post videos (just reply to them) and 5. your parents need to monitor your Internet usage. Does mom know you're on here cursing and swearing at people??? GET LOST LITTLE KID.

@socalguy97 LMAO "i dont have time to record and post videos"....but somehow u have more then enough time to troll around on buick videos! c'mon now cant u come up with a better excuse?
ricksmiths10 8 months ago

That's a SAAB with a Buick badge and a lot of fake chrome and fake leather.
razvanand 9 months ago

Car was priced at 40 grand...it's a sweet car that I think is a better buy than a Caddy, Lincoln, or Lexus.
colderbeer 10 months ago
Go get Camry first don't even try for Lexus.
zipacna1980 11 months ago
@zipacna1980

Lemme show you our service orders from how many times we were in and out of the dealership with it.

dvspot 1 year ago

No bull. Just honesty!

etoyotarockshsucks 1 year ago
@etoyotarockshsucks Nah, I don't think we made a mistake. Our GS was in an out of the shop plenty of times. Our 2010 Lacrosse hasn't seen the shop yet less oil changes. We now have around 30k miles on ours, and not a day of trouble. We like the look and feel of the Buick much better than our GS. It's quieter, too. the leather is softer, there's more room, as much acceleration, and overall no complaints. Looks and feels nicer. Our GS annoyed us to no end, and that was NOT our first Lexus either.
socalguy97 1 year ago
Respond to this video...If you want an actual account of how our Lexus performed from '06 through '09, or even '06 through '07, I have service records to validates the problems we had, which were covered by warranty, but were still an annoyance. So, I'm sorry; while I appreciate your opinion, from live experience, I can attest that our Buick has been more solid, reliable and comfortable.
socalguy97 1 year ago
@socalguy97 You must have had a lemon. Lexus is usually more reliable
etoyotarockshsucks 1 year ago
@etoyotarockshsucks We must have had two lemons then because the Lexus RX we had before the GS was no poster child for reliability either. It wasn't bad, it just had it's issues. None with the Buick as of yet.
socalguy97 1 year ago
@socalguy97 our blazzer was made by gm and was total crap. Broke down completely after 85,000 miles. Our highlander hasn't had a single problem yet and the odometer reads 80,000 miles
etoyotarockshsucks 1 year ago
@etoyotarockshsucks I wish I could say the same for our Lexus (both that we had). They weren't the worst cars we ever had, mechanically speaking, but certainly not what the media has them (and Toyota) cracked up to be. I can't speak to the problems you had with your Chevy since I know nothing about them. Can only say our Buick hasn't had any trouble after one year and 30k on the odometer.
socalguy97 1 year ago
@socalguy97 wow, thats very unusual. GM usually ranks lowest in reliability only worsted by chrysler. Im not sure if your telling the truth.
etoyotarockshsucks 1 year ago
@etoyotarockshsucks Well keep in mind, we've only had the car for a year, and it only has about 30,000 miles on it. I'm not ruling out reliability issues in the future. I can only say that after the first year, ours' is fine. At 85k, who knows, perhaps we will have trouble. As far as the Lexus' we had, again, by no means the worst, but we had our share of reliability issues. One of the reasons, among many, that we bought the Buick is because at some point, it was ranked #1 in reliability.
socalguy97 1 year ago
@socalguy97 i find it rather unprofessional and somewhat stupid to tell what your profession is online....but it is some what relevant to your buick purchase....aka...not very smart :)

What about resale value for your hard earned money? And that car will be a throw away in 10 years or if and when it hits 100,000 miles, while the Lexus is barely broken in at 100 grand and you will be able to recoup more of your money WITH a lot fewer problems.
bospet40 1 year ago
