senors also take into account the car's speed and motion to adjust the dynamic vision appropriately. at first i thought it was just another clever feature, but i love it now, and have really learned to appreciate it on the dark twisty country roads around me. much safer than the stationary dim stock halogens found on the average car.
So you can see that much of a difference? I just got a 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander with HID Zenon's, they are a LOT better then halogens, but I didn't know if the dynamic HID's made that much of a difference.
oh yes! never had it before but just picked up a 2007 bmw335 and my drives in the country (curvy stuff with no street lights etc.) are so much easier now. it's especially important since xenon is so bright you can lose the peripheral screen advantage that halogen offers. my honda s2000 was like that: very bright in front of you but no periph, which sucks big time on curvy roads. i would never go back to old tech now that i have experienced adaptive xenon
I can tell it's Diesel engine. Such a noisy machine

so when ur driving along turns the lamps will turn towards the curve, allowing you to see whats along the curves instead of just ahead.
it basically lets u look with ur headlights as you would with your own eyes, all of this is done just by turning the steering wheel
