@xgalore77zerha268 I like the song I'll make a man outta you - mulan. And most movies I like the same, except Pearl Harbor and silence of the lambs which are horrible. Misery and doom to J.B. but do not hate your enemy too much lest you empower him.
@ScaredPiglet haha did you see that in my favorites or is it just an odd coincidence that you like 'I'll make a man out of you' cause i fucking love that song, i really do. The last sentence you wrote is gibberish to me, but as if you didn't like pearl harbor, it's a great movie.
@xgalore77zerha268 The proverb in my last sentence is too deep for you to understand but your website is covered in anti-JB references. Pearl Harbor is one of the most hated movies ever made cause it turns a major American historical event representing the false flag operation to start the Pacific War and turns it into a disgusting romance with bad actors.
@ScaredPiglet The problem is matey that i don't even remember writing those movies in my profile, and i and wasn't sure who you were referring too with J.B. I thought you were just saying something random tbh....
This must be off of an album or something because it is not the same version I remember as being the original. Listen to the version at reyesm13 on youtube. That's the version that is the one I remember as being the original. (Even the organ break on this version is different than the original.) In addition this version doesn't have the drive and edge the original had.
i love it... i heard it in ''heroes'' and i love the killer-Syler...anyway was a great scene in the rain and i heard the song for the first time. i know shame on me but since then i am listening to it every day :P
now this IS a Farfisa Organ... nothing else sounds like it!
Very Cool Song...
I remember when I ran away with my 15 year old girlfriend... this became out theme song... sang it to myself in a Kenosha, WI jail cell... that's as far as we got.
Our Parents had to come and get us as we were both minors... Ha Ha... wonder what ever happened to that girl... Sweet Candy!
This song brings back sooooo many good wonderful thoughts growing up in the 60s early 70s The so called music now adays isnt fit for human consumption.
I always wonder what came first the music or the dance? all I could do while listening tothis song was visualize people doing the "jerk" or the "swim". That aside, this song is rockin'. Groovy baby Groovy!
@roosevelthighschool There is absolutely nothing wrong with liking good songs. The only thing that's wrong is worrying about when they were recorded. If it's good, it's good. It is isn't, it isn't. Nothing else matters.
Brilliant organ solo (if that's what it is...)... not evident until you hit the break... jarring introduction and gives the song that elevation that's priceless...
@zekeandpoco This song as sung by Shannon was the opening theme music for the TV show Crime Story starring Dennis Farina and introducing Andrew Dice Clay, though I believe this version here is a re-record.
Haha, I'm with you. I'm 19 and my dad is a Baby Boomer, kinda had me at a late age so I grew up listening to Del Shannon, The Zombies and things like that. Great music.
I have never heard this version before. Not quite the version which came out in 1961 on Big Top records. Still not bad. Lawrence Welk had an instrumental version of this song.
