Sven Ottke??? this guy was a wanker, he should never be mentioned with those other champs, when he fought Robin Reid it was the biggest farce in boxing history, just check that fight out, I think apart from the Kessler and Lacy fights Joe pick people on the slide. I think Reid won their encounter but joe got the decision although it was a close fight.
I know this is gonna piss people off but I think that Jones was the best fighter I have ever seen from 160-175 when he was truly in his prime. Calzaghe was past his prime here too though but Jones was still a little better at his peak. But whatever the case, Joe was a great fighter who I was telling people here in the States about a long time ago.

That Hopkins/Jones second fight is ugly as hell and neither man came out looking good.
The thing is, Calzaghe did lose. A split decision isn't conclusive, and when you duck rematches for split decisions, you're admitting defeat by default. It shouldn't be praised, it should be regarded with disgust.

I know this is gonna piss people off but I think that Jones was the best fighter I have ever seen from 160-175 when he was truly in his prime. Calzaghe was past his prime here too though but Jones was still a little better at his peak. But whatever the case, Joe was a great fighter who I was telling people here in the States about a long time ago.
