A few weeks ago this song popped into my head and I seriously haven't heard it since 1983. It's around the same time that i started to develop a strange feeling that lasted for years and I later found out my birth mother died around that time. It's always come across to me as intriguing and hauntingly eerie all at the same time.

About 2 weeks ago I gave up looking for it but I finally found it. This remix is seriously much better than the others i found.

But exists this Minimix also on Vinyl or CD ?

The minimix is based on a new edit of the original. To this edit,

new drums and baselines are added. The famous Miami Vice

timbales (percussion) appear and the famous Aahhhh sample

does it's bit. In Addition to this, voice clips where taken from some

of the episodes, and placed over the complete mix.

The orginal version of this piece came out in 1984 and I'm pretty certain this remix is within a few years of it...3 or 4 maybe. Certainly much older than 2005. It just sounds damn good enough to be that recent!

I'm from 1977 and I'm kind of stuck in the 80's as well it seems... Music, TV shows, movies.

They don't make stuff like this anymore sadly. See the Miami Vice movie. Doesn't come even close to the series. I own all the seasons on DVD but the movie stays out of my house.

Years and years ago (I thin 1994) there was a "Ben Liebrand Minimix Special" at Veronica Radio (on Radio 3) hosted by Jeroen van inkel.

Ben and Jeroen played a lot of very cool minimixes there, and Ben told some inside info behind some of the masterpieces. I still have that somewhere on tape allthough the quality must be close to zero because I played it over and over again!

The first and only club where i heard this mix was played was in the "Marathon".
