Bin Laden claimed he and many others were angry at the western influence and presence in islamic countries. As much as I don't care for the man, keeping a calm exterior was the best thing he could have done given his situation. Why are there so many conspiracy theorists here? Fact: Al Qaeda claimed responsibility for the 9/11 attacks. Osama is on tape talking about it. And the claim "The goverenment faked the tape," also holds no ground. If the US government fabricated the tapes Al-Queda would have made a huge deal about this. @clragm I think he'd have been too shell shocked at the time too even think about what to do. theres not much he could have done anyway. I am surprised he did not faint or anything like that. Although I do agree that at the time he wouldent have known if any more attacks were to come, so I guess he could have excused himself and helped make sure to prepare for any more imminent attacks. Despite this, I like the way he acted, though it may not be the best thing to do, I admire it and Im similar.

Bin Laden claimed he and many others were angry at the western influence and presence in islamic countries. I remember 9-11 vividly as I am sure everyone on this blog did. I do NOT think our government planned any such thing. No human is evil enough to let 3000 of his fellow countrymen die to go to war with Iraq. It simply is not humanly possible. I know many hate Bush. I am a conservative and I even at the end was really ticked off at him. Republicans tend to be free on economics (great thing) and social freedoms, and can be a bit trigger happy admittedly. ok first of all im a democrat and didnt like bush, but saying that he was behind the attacks of 911 is just improbable to me. but i know that he didnt do it.these conspiracy theories are just something to move the blame from al queda to bush or our government.you dont even know the meaning of what you are saying anymore when you talk about this. so you need to stop blaming our government and bush they would never do something like that to our own country just to go to war with another country.
