He's ruining Jim Butcher's reputation. The fact is Jim Butcher (author of the books) just published a graphic novel called Welcome to the Jungle that, though dealing with the characters of the novels, was inspired by a quote from the TV show in the episode Storm Front in which Murphy talks about a 'mess at the zoo.' He called it cross pollintion.

This is a TV show. That guy narrating is a wizard who works as a private investigator in modern day Chicago. It's really not that complicated.
