Interesting and valuable contribution to the general debate about sustainability though I found myself wondering if the romanticising of 'traditional' Japanese culutre inclines one to concentrate on the past too much? That is, sustainability must incorporate an expansion of our horizons as it concerns future generations not simply preservation of past knowledge. All in all though a beautiful production but perhaps lacking in modernity?
