Wow, just as you said it's a quarter past midnight I looked at my time watching this and it was 12:16. It's very lovely to meet your "new" kitty and your unexpected...er....friend. So what do you say about haunted people? A few houses back we had one with what my mom believes is a little boy no more than preteen and he began to follow me as I moved. Weirdest part is that he hates change. For example, my mom would move her potted plants around and he'd move them back. But even now he's with me.
i do not know why but my eyes can see alot of moving stuff i dont mean any furniture i mean like sileuetes (i think this is how you spell it) its completely see through but i see them alot in this video and in real life and this is the reason i get paranoid when i get in dark rooms like the room im in now realy dark and i dont know if its scary but it scares me (my room)

Very interesting. The mist was most intriguing, did your other camera pick it up from a different angle? I lived in a haunted house which was very ALIVE with activity and my gf saw mist, and what we believe to have been the owners ex husband, who had died, had visited us in our room at night. At 3am. Which seemed to be a rather active time at night. Feeling brave one day, alone in the house, I shouted "There is nothing here, nothing!" That very second, a metal tray crashed to the floor...I left!

Do you find ghosts etc in your home "too close for comfort"? At times I do. Yet I would enjoy a ghost pet. No vet bills!!! Anyhoo once again all the best and take care.

That "mist" could be ectoplasm(?). If it is then it is a very bad sign according to a 'witch' friend of mine.

I once heard that a person who is a sensistive or a medium can experience the same physical symtoms of the spirit before his or her death. ie-smelling smoke from a burn victim or experiencing congestion from a spirit who passed on phemonia or congestive heart failure. Its not that the spirit does it on purpose, its just part of the spirit when in transition. Do you think that is what you were experiencing?

@1PKU I think that's the shadow cast from his knee. The IR light as you know, fills the room with light that is below the spectrum of what we can see with our eyes but is picked up by the camera.
If you have have an IR light and light it with the camera "Nightvision" turned of it'll appear as a "flashlight". Anyways, this is why his knee casts a "shadow" and I believe that is what it is at the bottom.

@Camilo21986 I know that cat`s can from two personal experiences in the past. I have never heard that about aggressive spirits though. They tend to be more active than anything, which is good for camera:)
isn't it a strange feeling that when you do these investigations then to discover you have them in your own home. i was teaching myself about ghosts and ghost hunting when i soon discovered i have one in my bedroom as well. its been very quiet her for awhile until the other day when a audio picture frame went off by its self, you have to push the button to hear it, no one was near it its up high, the sound in it is my youngest daughter when she was a baby crying. i sleep with a light on, lol

Right after you say you are going to settle down, at 3:11, I can hear a faint whisper that says "me too". If you really listen, a male says "I heard that" at 4:34. I, yet again, hear another voice at 5:07 which sounds like "don't play with me"! Starting at 9:41, it looks like there is a shadow on your couch that then appears to "jump" or glide off at 9:46. Was that your ghost kitty or something else? Great video!

Once or twice I thought I saw strand -shaped anomalies floating down the wall in the corner, I also saw one float past you, which you referred to as the cat. Strange about the battery flattening so soon. The "entity" seems to come and go a lot. Wonder why? Is it a connection with the furniture? You show a lot of patience, making these videos! Perhaps you could get someone else to film when you are out?

Nice video. Some may point out that the "purring" could be some kind of mechanical noise, but, I think it has some credibility in that 1. you never caught it before, 2. It doesn't last the whole time, and 3. You said you felt the cat was there without knowing the purring had been picked up. Also, I own cats as well, and while it does sound slightly mechanical, I recognize the up and down cadence of a purr, which really fits in with evp anyway, which sound mechanical but are recognized as voices.

But apparently, that`s what Commissioning Editors like, lots of panic, masses of mood music and very little activity. Time for change methinks, but convincing them otherwise is often an uphill struggle:) They call that `reality tv`.

@flexina Anna, I think the cat is actually very content. I have seen her once in `the flesh`, and she is often in my bedroom hopping on the sheets - although then I can`t see her very well as she appears mostly as a shadow.

Thanks for another interesting upload Chris. As always I appreciate the calm and patient investigative method - so much better (and true to life) than the usual frantic fabrications offered on the Boob Tube. Whilst your 'visitor' is clearly a stranger to you may he be 'related' to any of the furniture in the room? Do your cats ever get 'spooked' by your phantom feline friend?

@Hummadruz Thanks Dave. I do appreciate your comments and I`m pleased that my method of working is more realistic than the hype you see on TV. But apparently, that`s what Commissioning Editors like, lots of panic, masses of mood music and very little activity. Time for change methinks, but convincing them otherwise is often an uphill struggle:) They call that `reality tv`.
I don`t feel there is any connection with my visitor and the furniture, but who knows:) Thanks again mate:)

@flexina Anna, I think the cat is actually very content. I have seen her once in `the flesh`, and she is often in my bedroom hopping on the sheets - although then I can`t see her very well as she appears mostly as a shadow.
No, I think I`ll keep her as she is obviously content:)

At 12:20, just before and during the EVP, it looks like a mist moving over the table.
This could be an optical artefact, I don´t know, but it really looks strange...

to me it sound like the first evp is perhapse saying Alix or maby not a voice but sounds a bit like a sneeze and omg when you nearly droped your camera i jumped and my heart is beating alot faster lol and omgosh ghost kitteh! yay the way it looks as if you disturbed it when you moved just after you moved and that whole sudden coughing is worrieing..
