@EvilleFirefigther We do smething similar where im at but we dont use the siren, every apparatus on scene hits there air horn's that way if the interior crews dont hear the evac tones go off they will hear the air horn's.
That is the ultimate in cool!! When we buy our new engine... it is going to have those hi-lo's on it as well!! I love it! BTW.. what kind of tanker is this? Is there a pic of it somewhere?
thats the law in tennessee to if your lights are on you must have sirens on to.

Ya The HI LO at my FD Dept. is use for Emergency at a fire if some happen and there's firefighter in the house we use it to tell everyone to get out

Some states have laws that if you are responding to an emergency with lights on you need a siren on as well

I don't think I've ever heard hi-lo sirens used in the US, lol, it's pretty funny. Anything sounds better than powercall though.

Siren is a Federal PA 300. The Hi-Lo is the real thing.
Martin Air Horns is 4 horns imported from Germany. It has 138db. They hear you coming!!!
