hi! i have the fairy ring deck too. The boogeyman scared me too much though and i couldn't handle it. i threw out the scary cards. i know that was stupid to do that, but i did it and it's too late. now i only have a quarter of the deck. :( so now i just got a new deck called "shining angels tarot." i won't throw any away this time. i have had some really bad experiences with tarot, and i mean i've badly misinterpreted my cards drawn. how do u make sure u don't misinterpret? or fear

Nice Video, when you mentioned that runes are always right for you even when you dont know what your pulling them out for, well its the same for me when i do tarot, when i first started using tarot when i came into wicca i was a bit of a skeptic but, i definately am not anymore, it never fails to amaze me how accurate the readings are, even when i do them for other people. its just amazing.

I agree with you that it is best to settle down with certain aspects of magick & spiritualism that works best for you and you find yourself more in tune with also that you enjoy!! Magick is a very wide field and it is easy to think that you can tackle more than you really can!!! Meditation and astral travel also reiki can help give your powers as a witch or wizard, a great boost!!
I'm a Druid not a Wiccan so i deal with divination more in-depth alot and i've found that Ogham sticks (unique to Druidry) and tarot decks are the best to use becuase (for druids) you have to MAKE your own Ogham sticks so you develope a personal connection with them and tarot decks, as im sure TipToe knows, you develope a connection over time
Plus i tend to leave the Runes to the Asatru lol thats their area of expertise :P
One thing about Lisa's book is she continues Ralph Blum's creation of the blank rune which is not within the Futhark. Toss that blank rune if you are serious about Runology.
I do runes mostly. I am planning on trying out with tarot cards and tea leaves readings. ^^ I haven't got a good cup for the tea leaves yet PLUS in my experiences tea leaf symbols are unique to yourself so you need to make a "book" of sorts. I have the Tarot of the Spirit deck, which is pretty and also aimed at the emotional side of things and features a card with no intrinsic meaning that you have to find meaningful with use. I tend to craft how I am making a spread as I ask the question, so spreads end up different every time. My deck sometimes fights me on this, and so I give it opportunities to clarify what it's drawing out for me by laying ancillary cards. I once had a spread that used 24 cards. Great video!
I have used the Druid Animal Oracle Deck to do a reading. I did two readings in one day, at different times, after shuffling the deck multiple times, and doing two different spreads. In both spreads there was a common focus as part of the spread...my present emotion and attatchment....i drew the same card, same position in the same place in the spread. It said that i would need to learn to let go, even if it may hurt...My very best friend is moving to Germany tomorrow, and i cant let go of her:(

There came a point where I had 4 tarot decks, 3 angel decks and 1 oracle decks and just had to stop it there (costs a lot!!!!)...I just love them all! Soooo many beautiful decks out there! @JayMikeyJay river stones are good because they tend to be flat but you you can use other things like wood, not my cup of tea but some people have used bone and ivory.
@JayMikeyJay my runes are river rocks too that i collected in australia many years back near a mountain. i just cleansed and consecrated them while in my sacred circle and painted the symbols on it with gold paint =) my runes have never failed me =) blessed be!
@THEMAYQUEEN1 Depending on where you are when using your pendulum, it may be affected by outside influences, therefore it shall give the incorrect answer. For example, should you be using your pendulum outside, obviously the wind is going to affect it's direction, so it'll will be wrong. Or should you use it near a fan, the same affect. You have to use it in a quiet room, with windows closed and fans off. Then it is accurate as possible.
